My view can overlook the garden, and the other rooms can overlook the hotel’s large swimming pool. The breakfast buffet is well-stocked, fresh ingredients, and a small amount of savoury dishes changes every day, so as not to get bored. If it is summer, you can also dine under the vines on the balcony. The staff is very nice and the English is easy to understand, but with the translation app today, you can do miracles! Room 94 is a bit noisy outside because there is a pump next to us, which is not very annoying. On the other hand, be careful of mosquitoes, even in October, remember to bring lemongrass essential oil. The beach is a 15-minute walk, the hardest part is the climb back, but Parguelia Beach is really beautiful, next door is Tropea, everything can be done on foot (3 kilometers), But you must climb. The town of Parguelia (10 minutes walk) has a Michelin-worthy restaurant called "IL Portale" which is absolutely necessary. The seafood and fish are amazingly fresh and not missed at any cost, their white or red pizzas are full Local ingredients are great!

Das Hotel Tirreno in Parghelia ist eine wunderschön gelegene Anlage mit einem herrlichen Garten. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und persönlich aufgenommen und die Geschäftsleitung und das Empfangspersonal kümmern sich um jeden Wunsch. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und werden hervorragend gepflegt. Das Restaurant bietet gute italienische Küche, eine interessante Weinkarte und auch das Frühstück ist umfassend und reichlich. Wir möchten uns nochmals für den angenehmen Aufenthalt bedanken und werden wiederkommen.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, innen wie außen sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück ist gut - auf dem Buffet ist für jede/n was dabei. Das Abendessen ist zweigeteilt - Vorspeise bei Pasta o. Risotto sehr gut, die Hauptgänge überzeugten uns nicht, Nachtisch wiederum lecker. Pool und Garten sind sehr einladend. Aktuell ist auf dem Gelände eine ruhende Baustelle - es wird nur in den Wintermonaten gebaut - stört überhaupt nicht. Liegen und Sonnenschirme am Strand waren leider noch nicht verfügbar (vermutlich Vorsaison).

It was a little far from the center of Tropea, so the atmosphere was calm and nice. All the staff were very kind and always very helpful. You can walk to the private beach about 500m away, but there is a free shuttle bus, which was convenient. The beach is so clear and clean that you can see small fish swimming on calm days. The beach is a mixture of sand and small stones, so if you wear swimming shoes that you can wear, your legs may not hurt. You can get to the town of Tropea by taxi or by the hotel's own shuttle bus, which runs only at night. A taxi costs about 10 euros one way. I thought it was OK unless you go every day. I looked forward to the food at the hotel restaurant every day. For breakfast, we had grilled vegetables such as red onions, zucchini, tomatoes, and mushrooms from Tropea, as well as cheese and ham, which were all fresh and delicious. We also had dinner at the hotel, but a different menu was posted at the reception every day, so we chose one during the day. The food was very delicious every day. We stayed in a poolside room, and the pool was right in front of us, so it was really convenient for swimming. There were tables and chairs and even a clothesline on the patio outside the room, so wet swimsuits and towels can be hung there to dry quickly. Next time, we'd like to stay in a room on the upper floor with a view of the ocean. We went to the Aeolian Islands, a World Heritage Site, on a tour from the hotel, and the boat trip, which took about two hours each way and about half a day, was a nice change of pace. Hotel Tirreno is a wonderful hotel that's perfect for those who want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. Here, you'll be greeted by warm people, delicious food, and beautiful sea.
