Best Hotels near Auber, Paris

I had a double room. It was very clean and calm, with a large bathroom. The rooms' decoration is certainly dated and basic but it is functional. The person at the reception the day I left was extremely helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located: about 100m from Gare Saint Lazare (and the metro) and very close to shops and large department stores in a very lively neighbourhood. I would happily stay there again. Great value for money.

Excellent location: walking distance to major Paris department stores such as Printemps and Lafayette! Adagio at Opera is more than a hotel; it’s like your tiny home in the very centre of Paris with a kitchen including full necessary kitchenware, a microwave, a huge fridge and a table where you can cook and enjoy your own meal when fed up of eating outside in the restaurants! Free hot tea is always waiting for you in its comfortable lounge, while 24h front desk service makes you feel safer and more at home!

We arrived very early in Paris, on July 3, with my husband and my daughters (16 and 17 years old) it was 7 in the morning, on a Monday, and they allowed us to leave our bags, use the bathroom, to be able to go for a walk. comfortable around the city until our check-in time. They even told us that they would do their best to give us our room earlier than planned. We stayed in a family room, immaculate. With a two-stage bathroom, wardrobe / closet, desk, a very large TV, air conditioning (essential in summer), minibar, coffee maker (Nespresso). The reception staff are very friendly but above all efficient. At the reception there are snacks and drinks free of charge for the guest, they treated us very well and were very respectful. We checked out and were able to leave our bags to enjoy our last day in the city lightly, they hired us a taxi that would take us to the airport and we were able to wait for the car at the reception. Very nice, very Paris feel of a hotel. Super friendly staff and spotless cleaning! Booked the larger room that was available and it was very good size, can't imagine a lot of the hotels in Paris offers as much space. Very family friendly hotel in the sense of how we were treated, didn't feel for a second as traveling with a baby was an issue for them which the the rest of Paris kind of did. Christmas decoration in the lobby made it very very cute and welcoming and the location is perfect. Loved our stay

My friend booked this hotel for our business trip in Paris for 6 nights. The price was reasonable due to location wise although the room is very small. The customer service is what i would like to mention here.. Ibrahim was a night shift receptionist who was quite unprofessional and rude the way he dealt with complaints. The third night of our stay, we came back to the hotel around 9 pm and collected the keycard with him. During that moment we informed him that the wifi in our room was not working on our phones. What he responded was “that is your problem not my problem”. My friends even showed him that it really didn’t work. He once again said “it’s your phone problem, not the hotel”. After getting back to our room with disappointing service, I found out that the warm water in the bathroom didn’t work. So my friend went down to ask him for help again since I was already undressed. She came up with a shocking respons from Ibrahim again. She said “excuse me, the warm water in our room is not working.” He said “yes yes it’s not working” and pointed to the announcement on the lobby counter, telling her to read “FRENCH” announcement about the disruption of warm water without moving himself from his chair or look at my friend’s face instead being on his phone. So we needed to take a cold shower at night in autumn. Waking up in the morning knowing that the warm water wasn’t working was already annoying, there was a cockroach walking in our bathroom. That made our morning even more disgusting. I, in the next morning, delivered my complaint to a morning shift named “Penelope” who was very very helpful. She listened to me and tried to explain that the water disruption was from the road construction not from the hotel. I told her that was understandable but the way Ibrahim dealt with our complaints was not the right way and the fact that the hotel is located in central area of Paris, you should put the announcement in “ENGLISH” and “FRENCH” and beyond that he should inform us when we collected the keycard that the warm water was not working until 10.00 am next day” Penelope was also surprised what I told her how inappropriate her colleague was. Penelope also helped me directly with the wifi connection by calling the technical team and asked them to remotely fix my problem with my phone (which is also strange) but she was doing her job. Doing business in hospitality industry, SERVICE is the core. Strangely enough, I read so many negative reviews of this hotel, but seeing no responses from management team at all. So I don’t really know what do they care for and what do they want to provide. If any of you is reading this review and looking for a place to stay in Paris, try other hotels. There are way more hotels where they are the same price range but definitely better customer service. I personally was working in hotel for a long time, this is not the proper customer service you should get when you pay almost 300€ per night. My 2 star

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Cet hôtel est à fuir ! Le personnel est de mauvaise foi, menteur et ”embrouilleur”, donc impossible de se faire entendre et d'obtenir un quelconque service. Et quand j'ai demandé le nom du gérant pour le joindre directement on m'a répondu que le personnel n'avait pas le droit de donner son nom ?! J'ai réservé en mai une chambre pour 2 personnes pour 5 nuits en appelant directement l'hotel J'ai demandé un mail de confirmation : 5 nuits en chambre Exe (cutive) n°204. Sur place, la clim ne marchait pas, le gardien de nuit a proposé de la régler à partir du central, sans succès. Il m'a dit de nous servir gratuitement dans le mini bar, et quand j'ai demandé un ventilateur, il m'a répondu qu'ils étaient tous déjà pris... le problème de clim semblait donc être général. Après vérification du planning, il m'a dit que le lendemain ils transfèreraient nos valises en chambre 104, même type de chambre, Le lendemain soir, il nous donne la clé de la chambre 102 !? Un chambre de catégorie inférieure, très petite, avec une fenêtre sur cour et complétement obstruée par l'énorme machinerie de la clim de l'hôtel, qui fait un bruit monstrueux et qui dégage une chaleur insupportable. Donc impossible de garder la fenêtre ouverte ! Quand je lui rappelle sa proposition de la vielle, il me soutient qu'il ne m'a jamais proposé la chambre 104, qui de toute façon n'est pas disponible ... Dans la chambre la clim étant verrouillée, impossible de la modifier, j'appelle l'accueil : même réponse que la veille, il va voir avec le central mais sans résultat ! Le 3ème soir, pas d'autre proposition de chambre, la clim toujours verrouillée. Nous nous sommes débrouillés tous seuls en trouvant le mode d'emploi sur Internet. Le jour du départ, j'ai demandé un remboursement de la différence entre la catégorie de chambre précisée dans le mail de confirmation (Exécutive) et celle de la chambre que nous avons réellement occupée (Deluxe - très petite). On m'a répondu que j'avais été surclassée dès le départ comme c'était précisé sur la fiche de réservation INTERNE ! Mais à aucun moment, on ne m'en a informé, ni par téléphone ni par mail. Il me répond que j'étais d'accord puisque j'ai transmis mes cordonnées bancaires !!, ça n'a aucun rapport ! et c'est le mail de confirmation qui vaut contrat entre l'hôtel et le client !!! Donc pour eux, ni ce qu'ils disent, ni ce qu'ils écrivent n'a de valeur ! C'est la porte ouverte à tous les abus et à la malhonnêteté... CQFD

We stayed here for 3 nights and we had a great experience. Everyone was so nice and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends. I also love the location of the hotel, it's the perfect distance from everything.

The rooms in Paris hotels are certainly not big, but the balcony is a real plus. The room decoration is relatively new and very clean. The front desk services are very kind. The most important thing is convenience, one traffic light from Printemp, 300 meters from Galeries Lafayette, and 500 meters from Opera. Surrounded by Chinese food, Kebab, McDonald's, KFC, and Burger King, they are all within a radius of 50 meters.

The location is great, just a short walk after getting off the airport bus. The room has free drinks, the room is very clean, and the bathroom is quite large. The breakfast was delicious. There are many different yogurts to eat, and the croissants are delicious. The aisle of the hotel is very narrow and the elevator is very small. When it stops, it will give a shock. I was a little scared at first, but it is good to be used to it.
