Tres bon accueil, tout le personnel est syma. C’est vrai nous ne sommes pas dans un palace mais : chambre petite mais propre, salle de bains propre. Quand on vient a Paris ce n’est pas pour rester dans sa chambre toute la journee ! Surprise des commentaires précédents. Sommes nous surs d’être allés dans les meme hôtel ? I don't expect large rooms when staying in Paris, especially not from a 3-star at this price point. But even a small room can be thoughtfully laid out to maximize space and make the room more comfortable for guests. Unfortunately that could not be said for this hotel. The room looked seedy and run down, close enough to the pictures to see how we fell for the trap and booked this hotel, but the carpet had stains and burns in it, the walls dirty and looking as if they hadn't been touched in years. There was one mirror in our room and it was in the bathroom, located on an angle so it made getting ready in the morning exceptionally difficult if you're trying to avoid that fun-house look. Further, the only plug in the bathroom was for the shaver. I've come to expect that in Europe (especially in UK and Ireland) but without any other mirrors, and no plugs even close to the bathroom door in the room, it made getting ready and doing one's hair exceptionally difficult. I recognize that not everyone uses a flat iron or curler, but for anyone who does - think again. You won't be able to do your hair here unless you're prepared to use your laptop/iPad/phone camera as your mirror. Speaking of plugs, there were hardly any in the room and they were located in terribly inconvenient spots. One was under the TV and desk, the other by the door to the room. So if charging your phone or devices, you won't have them near your bedside - something that is particularly vexing when you have to set an alarm and your phone is across the room. While this also may seem trivial, this compiled with the bad layout, fun house and angled mirror in the bathroom, lack of shower curtain in the bathroom, and general seediness of the room made our stay most frustrating. And to top it all off, my travel partner had an unfortunate experience in the elevator, where another guest of the hotel picked up someone in the neighbourhood, who then proceeded to caress my travelling companion. They had run out for water bottles and when he returned to our room, he told me about his uncomfortable encounter - something that just didn't make either of us fee particularly safe. This was also the only hotel I've stayed in over the last 5-10 years that did not even check my ID when we checked into the hotel. I simply gave my name and was issued a key. A silly detail but it just added to the overall run down and somewhat sleazy feel. The only benefit of this hotel was the location. Though close to place de clichy and pigalle, notoriously sleazier areas in Paris full of sex shops, it's also close to SoPi (south pigalle) which is a trendy neighbourhood, full of shops and restaurants. There are lots of restaurants near by and its only a 30 minute walk to the Louvre, rue de Rivoli, etc., with the grand magasins and multiple museums less than 20 minutes away. I have to believe that our room hadn't been refurbished and others in the hotel had, because otherwise I can't possibly understand the good reviews

I am extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel during my 4 day visit to Paris. the friendly service, the cleanliness, the delicious food, the pleasant atmosphere (nice music, calmness and politeness from Sasha, Patrick, Isabelle and the women who take care of the cleanliness and the delicious breakfast). very convenient location, as well as proximity to a metro station. Absolutely perfect- beyond perfect! I cried when we left. We’ve been to Paris a few times and stayed in the area, and love it, but this was our first time with kids. We had ‘The Room’ that is used on the photos and it really really is like that. That view! The place had a great vibe, with staff and other guests being warm and welcoming. We loved the shared fridge and kitchen- perfect for our kids who will only eat cereal for breakfast! The location is perfect. Right next to a lovely play area for kids, Anvers metro station is outside and the Sunday street market that filled then boulevard was great! The room was lovely- very nicely decorated and the kids loved the bunbeds. Loved sitting on our little balcony and enjoying that view. I can’t even write how perfect our stay was. I’ve never seen Paris look so beautiful and we can’t wait to return.

I was debating between a 4 or 5 star review but had to go with 4. The hotel itself is located a short 3 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro station. The property is very nice and the staff was excellent, English was really spoken as were many other languages. The breakfast was excellent, I'd recommend the package with breakfast included. Two reasons for the one star reduction. First, the hotel has 2 elevators. One was foam when we checked in and had been for some time. Having one elevator in a hotel with 118 rooms becomes problematic at busy times and we waited for 5 elevators more than once. It looks like either the elevator was damaged by water or mechanical or a renovation was planned, but.. I think it was the former as a renovation is done and workers are present and the situation scheduled. This was just a sign and apologies. The second issue was one evening we came back to the hotel from a day out all day to find our bathroom had 1 towel, not a full size but a bath mat sized towel. We were informed their towel service didn't return the towels that day. We baked and a second small towel showed up but, that was not well planned out. The GM did apologize profusely, but it seemed like poor inventory control to hand zero stock on hand. Otherwise, great location, fantastic staff, rooms are decent sized and well appointed. Ask the staff for recommendations on restaurants and cafes, they are all knowledge

The hotel is in a really nice position very close to the metro station of Jaurès that can get you basically everywhere. The place was clean and there is the chance to leave there your luggage if you come to early for check in or if you need to leave it after check out. That earns the 2 stars in my review. Unfortunately this was probably my worst experience in a hotel. Checking in I was told that we got an upgrade and, instead of our view on the city we got what is supposedly a better room facing an internal wall. I must say that I am not sure if that was really an upgrade because it didn't feel like it - and this makes me wonder what would have been a regular room. Rooms are poorly insulated and I could hear perfectly what was going on in the rooms next to our. The cleaning was good, but unfortunately the cleaning lady forgot to close our door and, when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon, we found the door open. The only answer we got when we reported the issue was ”oh, that's not good” - indeed it isn't. Growing up in a similar business I have been taught to do what it take to make happy your guests and I found odd that I couldn't get a couple of spoons when I asked for them (”breakfast is closed now so we don't have spoons”). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The price doesn't match the service.

Pretty small

We stayed at GW for two nights. Montparnasse station and Danfer Rochelow station are about 13 minutes walk. Since the airport bus departing and arriving at Montparnasse station is gone, it is very convenient to be able to go to the airport without changing by RER from Danfer Rochelow station. The subway is about 8 minutes from Gete Station. Since it is a hotel on a big street, the surroundings are bright and you are not afraid to walk at night. Moreover, it is quiet at night. It is convenient because the monoprix grocery store near Montparnasse station is open until 23:40. One of the male staff at the front desk was surprised that he was good at Japanese. In addition, he was very kind. Breakfast is served with baguettes and petit size croissants, pan o chocolate, pan orezan in a basket. The baguette was delicious. Drinks can be served in a pot with coffee, tea or chocolate. Orange juice is also available. Then there are a few kinds of shelves of Financier, yogurt, jam and cheese. I thought I would go out to eat if breakfast was too much, but it was enough. Due to the depreciation of the yen, the hotel in Paris for the first time in 4 years was very expensive, and I was worried about where to stay, but I chose this place and it was the correct answer. There is a classic elevator and the rooms are large enough. There is no refrigerator in the room, but it was a very good hotel considering the price.

Very nice and brand new hotel straddling the 1/2 area of ​​Paris. The n12 metro is very convenient directly under the hotel to get to the center in about 20 minutes. Nearby there is a very good boulangerie for breakfast. Possibility of luggage storage, very friendly staff. The room is small as is the bathroom but the value for money is excellent. The only negative note is the cleaning in the room and the change of towels: there is only one free per stay but when I made the request I was told that they would do it the next day and instead in 5 days of stay this is not never happened. Toilet paper and hairdryers must be requested at reception when it would be sufficient to have them in abundance in the room depending on the length of the stay.

My husband and I stayed in a Superior Double Room for two days at the beginning of March. We had a wonderful view of the park and the Eiffel Tower. The room is beautiful to look at, but a little damaged in some parts (for example the shower). The biggest problem of the room was the ventilation system, as it smelled of the drain several times. The cleaner does her job, as she cleans the room daily, but the problem is exclusively ventilation. I might also point out that you can hear the chairs being moved in the bar in the room. I would also suggest that a different choice of breakfast be made every day, as it was the same breakfast twice. However, I would like to conclude by praising the staff, who were friendly at all times.
