Unfortunately when we arrived to Paris we had been given the last room left as the hotel was completely booked. Therefore we ended up with the smallest room on top floor. Which we were not comfortable with and had to cut our stay short. But thankfully with the help of Trip.com and the lovely staff at Splendid we were able to sort this issue out.
In relation to the hotel, staff were very lovely and helpful. The location is very convenient only 20 mins walk from Eiffel Tower and easy access to Metro. Comfy bed, however very small shower. Also we are not allowed to take keys with us when leaving the hotel they are an actual key rather and key card which was very different for me and wasn’t a big fan of this.

It was a small and decent room, but it’s Paris…the shower box is quite small. I elbowed the glass a couple of times while i showered so I’d imagine that bigger built people might not like how compact it is. I felt like the soundproofing is close to non-existent, I could hear people walking around, watching tv, and even their alarms so I couldn’t sleep very well. I also hated having to carry and drag my heavy suitcase up the stairs. Nonetheless, the location of the hotel is absolutely brilliant. It’s only a couple of minutes from the station and around 20min walk to see Eiffel Tower. I think I’ll still stay at Splendid Hotel next time I visit Paris, but will definitely try to book earlier so I get a room with the Eiffel Tower view.

The room is clean, tidy, and very cozy. Transportation is extremely convenient, with two subway lines near the hotel, and it's particularly close to the Eiffel Tower.

Good location, near to restaurants, cafe and bakeries. Near to Rue du Commerce and metro stations. Opposite a laundry shop.
Friendly staffs.
Inconvenient lifts due to older building design.
Very tiny shower space, made it almost impossible to shower (We are Asian normal size). Particularly asked for email and phone number from us not others, feel a bit strange.
Relatively quiet, no street noise except ambulances but could hear neighbor door closing and opening.

Very good location. Just 20 mins walk to Eiffel tower, bus stop and train station within 5 minutes walk. Super convenient 👍👍
Opposite is Subway, there are so many shops and food places, pharmacies around, 2 convenient stores which open til 1am i guess.
The room is very clean with view. Everything is renovated and smells nice.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Price is competitive with others in the area. Definitely will stay here whenever coming to Paris. Highly recommended!

This is a quaint, traditional small hotel located in a bustling downtown area. The room was spotless, though quite compact. The balcony offered a fantastic view, and you could truly see the Eiffel Tower. The gentleman at the front desk, who might be the owner, was incredibly warm and attentive.
However, the room's soundproofing was genuinely terrible. Being situated on a street, noise was an issue, but what made it unbearable was that on the night of my stay, a group of American guests in the adjacent room returned in the dead of night, making a tremendous racket and then chatting loudly until almost dawn. Consequently, I got virtually no sleep, and my head was throbbing.
