The service attitude of the reception staff on the day shift is good, but the quality of the reception staff on the night shift is worrying.
The location of the hotel is advantageous. It is very close to the Louvre and Orsay. Remember to book a room with a view on a high floor for a good view.
Hygiene is okay

The location is very good, opposite the Tuileries Garden, less than 10 minutes' walk from the Louvre and Place de la Concorde, there are many restaurants and coffee shops around, and it is very close to a traditional dessert shop. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic, and there is free tea and snacks from 2pm to 6pm.

Our stay at Hôtel Brighton Paris was incredible. We booked a deluxe room with views of Paris for three nights. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room was clean, spacious, with two very comfortable twin beds, good air conditioning, and a mini beverage cooler. The room included a Nespresso machine, an assortment of teas, and complimentary bottles of still and sparkling water, which were replenished daily. The bathroom was spacious with a walk-in shower, bathtub, and separate toilet room. There were two closets, one with a safe and shelves, and the other for hanging your clothes or storing your luggage. Furnishing and decor of the room fit the ambiance of the hotel, and they were in good condition. The highlight for us was the amazing view of the Tuileries Garden, Musée du Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, and the Eiffel Tower from our French balcony. We enjoyed opening the doors to watch the sunsets and the Eiffel Tower sparkle late at night. You do not need to worry about the noise from the street and the Tuileries Garden, as the two sets of double doors did a great job of blocking it out. A nice touch the hotel offers to all guests in the afternoon is the complimentary tea service in the lobby. They do offer a breakfast buffet and room service, both at an additional cost, but we preferred going to the many delicious boulangeries and restaurants. Location was important to us as we planned to walk as much as possible to take in the sights and explore the picturesque streets and shops of Paris. Being in the 1st arrondissement, the hotel was in a perfect location for Paris’s major attractions and near several Métro stations. During our trip, my sister and I found getting around to be easy. Throughout our stay, the staff were kind and very helpful, and the housekeeping team was excellent. Although it is pricier than other hotels you may find, in our opinion, the money was well worth it for the location, spacious room, view, and guest service that we experienced during our stay. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to Paris.

We just came back from a marvellous week in Paris and couldn’t be more delighted about our stay at Le Brighton. Very friendly and attentive staff, nice breakfast buffet, beautifully appointed rooms and extremely central location. Go for one of the rooms with a view, they are worth the extra buck! We will surely return. Hopefully soon!!!

I hate to leave a negative review when a hotel is trying and the front desk staff has been amazing, but I feel I need to. We stayed here in 2019 and found it quaint with an unbeatable view. This year I really debated because I wanted a nicer hotel, but I couldn’t get this view and location at a five star with my budget. I decided to splurge for the junior suite, excited it would be even better than our cute room in 2019, which was a category below. The room is very rough, extremely disappointing, inferior to our first room. The front desk showed us the only other junior suite currently available and it was up two small sets of stairs that would be difficult for my 71 year old mom. It was kind they would have let us switch, I really feel they were accommodating in trying. In addition to the stairs, the only positives of the second room was level flooring and more furniture, and it was slightly nicer, but still not Junior suite level. I was willing to spend extra to get the suite, but they are booked. While they had a sweet welcome treat, card, and greeted us with a glass of champagne, I regret the decision to stay here again. The room is so bad that it makes the view not even worth it. Instead of enjoying my trip, I find myself dreading going back to the hotel at the end of the day and in tears entering the room. They also advertise turn down service and we’ve not had it either night. Maid service was minimal. Very disappointing. It’s almost a two star room, only cleaner than I would expect a two star. Not worth what I am paying, even for the location and view. Definitely not worth upgrading to the junior suite.

This is a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Right opposite a beautiful park and the Seine, with the Louvre to the left, Place de la Concorde to the right and Metro stations a short walk away. The hotel is full of character and very tasteful. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. There was a coffee maker with good quality pods, and a small fridge, so we bought a small container of cream for the coffee. We had everything we could need in the room, including bath robes, slippers, hairdryer etc. I would have given 5 stars, except there were a couple of things that concerned us. We arrived late in the evening, tired and keen to check in. We had booked on ******* and pre-paid the bulk of the cost. However, on check in we were asked to pay an additional 3,500 Euros for our stay, which we did not owe. This took some time to clear up and was very stressful as we wondered if we would be able to stay. Later on we overheard a guest at the front desk who had been charged for every item in her mini bar, even though she had not used any of it. We checked our additional costs the day before checking out in case we needed to deal with any issues, but it was all fine. There was one member of staff who really stood out - Louis - he is an absolute star. He was kind, friendly and absolutely lovely. When we were having the issue over an incorrect additional charge, he was very reassuring and made us feel things would be OK. Over the week we stayed there, he was consistently kind, helpful and friendly. On our first day we asked how much breakfast costs, and were told 25 Euros each. This was a little beyond our budget, so we didn't eat the hotel breakfast, until the last day when we found out there were actually two options, and for 10 Euros each we could have coffee and pastries which would have been perfect for us. We had this on the last day and the food was very good quality, fresh and delicious. Every afternoon freshly made cake is served in the lounge area along with hot drinks. The cakes are delicious and a different flavour each day (but not a 'light meal' as the website suggests!). Overall we had a wonderful week staying here and I would definitely go back, it's a beautiful hotel.

The location of this hotel is excellent, which is why we chose it. The hotel is nice and the staff are wonderful but to be honest it is looking a bit tired. Our room was average and was hot as the air conditioner didn't work. There was only one lift and it was small so we often had to wait. The breakfast room was excellent although small and often crowded. The bar was very ordinary so we didn't use it. There is no restaurant.

This is not a 5 star hotel. 3 star would be better. No help at arrival to move multiple bags from our transport. Room was small for superior, paint peeling in bathroom, light fitting loose room sloped . Breakfast room very small, lifts small and slow. I heard a pickpocketer was in the front foyer and hotel staff not concerned.

The staff was especially courteous, and we could not imagine a better location to take in both the traditional tourist sites and the Christmas market.
