Convenientlocation, amazing staffs, and honestly, possibly the best hotel I have stayed in Europe. 1. It's SO HARD to find hotels with air-conditioning in Europe. This hotel has it. During the hottest summer in years, I was DESPERATE for good air-conditioning. 2. Staffs are so helpful and great. I have worked in service industry, and staffs at Alane are just the best. Not only are they very helpful, they will go above and beyond. They were amazing. 3. Location, location, location. I cannot stress that enoug. To be so near Gare de l'Est, ane literally a bus ride away from Monmarte, pretty much any famous Paris locstion is about within 20 minute. I feel so lucky to have found this great hotel. This hotel, to me deserves all the stars they can get.

A second visit to Hotel Alana and it was as good as before. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful service, 24/7 reception, great value, close to Metro and train stations and in a safe, walkable district. Recommended.

Location was great as it was really near to the train station Gare de l"Est. The room was quite small and it has a weird smell when we first entered. Had to open the window in cold winter to let some fresh air in.

The location is unbeatable! It’s a 3 min walk to Gare de L’est metro station and 10 minutes to Gare du Nord if you use Eurostar!  It’s perfect for a short stay. The rooms are clean and staff are friendly and attentive! The single room is small as expected. However, the bathroom doesn’t have any ventilation. You do have a very typical Parisian style window/balcony. So I open the window whenever I use the bathroom. I enjoyed my stay of 3 nights!

Hotel is close to the train stations. The district is not safe.

The staff was very friendly and attentive, the breakfast is really good, but the rooms could be cleaner and we also had a problem with the water drain in the shower.

Great location, closed to Train station and also easy to go to the attractions. The staffs are friendly. The bathroom is small but the water pressure is good.

Excellent location if you use the train to other cities

Very small room with no heating in winter. The street was very noisy and we were unable to sleep with so much noise. We even can hear the conversation from next door so literally no privacy.

Not bad for the price. It is close to main street and you can go there easily!
