Hotel next to train station but away from city . Traffic very bad when you drive or take Taxi. Room very small , just a room , very simple . Think not worth for money to stay .

Good location. Gentlemen at the counter very friendly and helpful BUT the lady staff very rude and no smile. No kettle in the room but can borrow from the counter without charge. Small lift.

this hotel is near to Metro Gare du Nord, Paris, Exit Number 2 from Metro. Small hotel but give hospitality for costumer. We can deposit our baggage in the morning free.
Enough facility in the room and bathtub is available in the room.

The location is right next to the North Railway Station and it has air conditioning. It is really convenient to spend the night in order to catch the Eurostar the next day.

I had booked for 3 nights at the New Hotel but unfortunately missed my train and had to arrive the next day.  On arrival I was taken around the corner to Hotel Richmond.  I was given a room on the 6th floor and the room did look exactly the same as the room pics from New Hotel so it didn't worry me too much.  The room was clean, well presented and with a huge updated bathroom.  The room was on the 6th floor and was very quiet.  Bed was comfortable and the water pressure of the shower was good.  The shower head was a little low but as I am only 5'4 it was fine for me but anyone taller may not be able to get their head under.  The room also had a split system air con/heater which was great.  The guys on the front desk were very nice and helpful.  The hotel is right across the road from Gare Du Nord so a perfect position to travel from as you have the Metro, buses , RER and International trains from the one place.  Was very happy with my choice for a short stay in Paris.  

Booked this as a quick staging post en route to Euro Disney. So easy to find, literally opposite the train station. The entrance and reception is tiny but does not detract. The lift is also very small and couldn't fit all 4 of us in our luggage so 2 of us went up the very narrow stair case. This is probably not ideal you have walking difficulties or very small children. Mine are 6&8 so not a problem. WE had booked 'family' room so had a very big room which when we arrived was still being set up by the staff. The lovely gentleman doing this was very welcoming and spoke good English and told us best way to get to Eiffel Tower etc. Room was massive with 2 double beds and a single camp bed. There was still room to move around the room but we were only there for a few hours. En Suite was new and modern, shower was really good. Amazing boulangerie round the corner, plenty of other cafes and restaurants on the door step. Very good.

The distance from Paris North Station is just across the street. It is really convenient to walk for 1 minute. The room is a single room, but it is just a large bed, which is very comfortable. The biggest problem is that there is no place for open luggage. There is a small balcony outside Paris North Station.
