Very cost-effective hotel. Good location, 5 minutes walk from Metro Line 4. The streets are very lively, with many restaurants around, including many Chinese restaurants. Miramar and a Vietnamese noodle restaurant are both run by Chinese, 10 minutes walk. Notre Dame de Paris, Café de Flore, and Shakespeare and Company are very close, 10 minutes away.

We stayed at Hotel du Levant for the duration of the Olympics (16 days). We loved our stay. The hotel is in an amazing location, a beautiful, quaint cobblestone neighbourhood with lots of very reasonably priced restaurants in the neighbourhood. The hotel is 2 minutes walk to two metro stations and 5 minutes walk to Notre Dame. Our room (a premium double) was spacious and well fitted out. Breakfast is continental with the best of ingredients. The standard of service (reception, room servicing and replenishing breakfast) is faultless. The only thing you need to be aware of is the lift is small (retrofitted into old building). It take two people or one person plus a suitcase so if you're claustrophobic maybe not the place for you. Other than that Hotel du Levant is the perfect place for a visitor to Paris to stay.

Nothing but huge accolades for this wonderful hotel in the middle of Paris! Staff are terrific, clean, air conditioning, great breakfast and just a relaxed comfortable place to take refuge in the middle of Paris. Thank you soooo much for being such great Olympic hosts!

Hôtel vraiment remarquable à tous égards : accueil, service, décoration, propreté, calme, situation à Paris, petit-déjeuner... Pour moi, un rapport qualité/prix difficile à égaler dans la capitale pour cette catégorie d'établissement !

We had a wonderful stay in room 44! Our list of must-haves for July were A/C, a walk-in shower and a working elevator. All of those items worked perfectly (the a/c was controlled by us and could even get quite chilly!). It is on a lively street with many restaurants, but our room was very quiet. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great. It is walking distance to several restaurants and shops, the metro and bus that will take you directly to many top sites. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.
