The staff is very welcoming and interesting. And very considerate. Breakfast time is 7:00-10:30, but we went down at 11:00 and asked if I could have coffee. Besides coffee, the front desk also gave me some bread, which was considerate and warm. We arrived late, only the last room, originally booked a superior room, but the corresponding picture should be a common room, this aspect can only be arrived earlier next time. The nearby bars and restaurants are quiet and comfortable, suitable for chatting. The bar is still full at two in the morning and will stay again.

The rooms were small but clean. There were small cubes where to save your stuff but not even a carry on would fit there. The private bathrooms were ok but there were no towels to even dry my hands on or to step out the shower afterwards, so everything was a bit wet. Sometimes I could not get it into the common bathrooms for some reason and I know I was not the only one (problems with hostel card) We asked whether they could add us all to the same 4-bed room since we were 3. They said they could and afterwards they did not 'by mistake' so this was a bit disappointing. The place in general was awesome, it was very nice, clean, friendly staff. They also have lockers where to store your luggage if needed. Breakfast was a bit expensive but totally worth it. Location was convenient since there is a metro station just around the corner, so it was pretty easy to move around such a big city. I would probably go again.

I have quite honestly never stayed in a more friendly hotel the staff were, without exception, amazing. They couldn’t do enough to help and every one we encountered was lovely and incredibly helpful. The hotel is well located away from the madding crowd but within a few steps of bars, restaurants and the hustle and bustle of central Paris. I needed a room with three single beds which many hotels don’t offer but this one does. The room was large (originally 2 rooms maybe) - with windows to the front and back of the property and a large bathroom. The room and bathroom were immaculate and nicely furnished, the bathroom was like new. The beds are really comfortable, we all commented on them, and we all slept well. All rooms are accessible by the spiral staircase but there is also a small lift. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back. The Wi-Fi was great, and tv channels plentiful. We didn’t make use of the in-house breakfast preferring to make the best use of the beautiful weather and eating outside.

We stayed at GW for two nights. Montparnasse station and Danfer Rochelow station are about 13 minutes walk. Since the airport bus departing and arriving at Montparnasse station is gone, it is very convenient to be able to go to the airport without changing by RER from Danfer Rochelow station. The subway is about 8 minutes from Gete Station. Since it is a hotel on a big street, the surroundings are bright and you are not afraid to walk at night. Moreover, it is quiet at night. It is convenient because the monoprix grocery store near Montparnasse station is open until 23:40. One of the male staff at the front desk was surprised that he was good at Japanese. In addition, he was very kind. Breakfast is served with baguettes and petit size croissants, pan o chocolate, pan orezan in a basket. The baguette was delicious. Drinks can be served in a pot with coffee, tea or chocolate. Orange juice is also available. Then there are a few kinds of shelves of Financier, yogurt, jam and cheese. I thought I would go out to eat if breakfast was too much, but it was enough. Due to the depreciation of the yen, the hotel in Paris for the first time in 4 years was very expensive, and I was worried about where to stay, but I chose this place and it was the correct answer. There is a classic elevator and the rooms are large enough. There is no refrigerator in the room, but it was a very good hotel considering the price.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at the Gardette Park hotel. While the room was on the smaller side, which is to be expected in Central Paris, it provided ample space for me. It would also be suitable for a couple, as long as they don't have too much luggage. The bed was comfortable and impeccably clean. One of the highlights of the room was the balcony, which overlooked the beautiful trees of Gardette Park. There was a coffee maker in the room, along with a sufficient supply of capsules, tea, and a kettle. Additionally, the reception area offered a tea, coffee, and chocolate machine, which guests could use at any time. Although I didn't choose the breakfast option, there were plenty of nearby alternatives available. The quiet atmosphere at night ensured a restful sleep. The lady at the reception (she speaks English, French, and Italian very well) was exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful, making my interactions with the staff a pleasant experience. The hotel's location was fantastic, with a close proximity to excellent restaurants, supermarkets, and a vibrant city (including night) life. While I didn't prioritize visiting major Paris attractions during this particular trip, they were only 30 minutes away. For those arriving from the airport (I personally used Orly and departed from CDG), the nearest metro station, Richard Lenoir, was a convenient 10-minute walk. However, if you have a substantial amount of luggage to transport, there are bus or Uber options to minimize the walking distance. Overall, my stay at the Gardette Park hotel was delightful, and I highly recommend it.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Around 10 mins walk to the subway, there is little restaurant/supermarket around. The room was big enough and with a table that’s good for sit & work. Staff are nice and helpful 7/24.

The hotel is in a really nice position very close to the metro station of Jaurès that can get you basically everywhere. The place was clean and there is the chance to leave there your luggage if you come to early for check in or if you need to leave it after check out. That earns the 2 stars in my review. Unfortunately this was probably my worst experience in a hotel. Checking in I was told that we got an upgrade and, instead of our view on the city we got what is supposedly a better room facing an internal wall. I must say that I am not sure if that was really an upgrade because it didn't feel like it - and this makes me wonder what would have been a regular room. Rooms are poorly insulated and I could hear perfectly what was going on in the rooms next to our. The cleaning was good, but unfortunately the cleaning lady forgot to close our door and, when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon, we found the door open. The only answer we got when we reported the issue was ”oh, that's not good” - indeed it isn't. Growing up in a similar business I have been taught to do what it take to make happy your guests and I found odd that I couldn't get a couple of spoons when I asked for them (”breakfast is closed now so we don't have spoons”). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The price doesn't match the service.

My husband and I stayed in a Superior Double Room for two days at the beginning of March. We had a wonderful view of the park and the Eiffel Tower. The room is beautiful to look at, but a little damaged in some parts (for example the shower). The biggest problem of the room was the ventilation system, as it smelled of the drain several times. The cleaner does her job, as she cleans the room daily, but the problem is exclusively ventilation. I might also point out that you can hear the chairs being moved in the bar in the room. I would also suggest that a different choice of breakfast be made every day, as it was the same breakfast twice. However, I would like to conclude by praising the staff, who were friendly at all times.

I stayed at this hotel for four weeks in June and July. My experience here was disappointing, starting from the moment that I checked in. My reservation stated that fees and taxes were included and the final amount to be paid at the hotel was shown. I reserved “connecting studios for 4 people” and I was charged an extra 210 Euros at check-in without being told. When I questioned this later, I was told that there is a tax of $2.50 per person per night and the reservation amount only included this tax for one person, so I was charged for the other 3 people at check-in. However, I was still overcharged. One person was under 18 and should not have been charged at all. Another person was leaving early. I was able to eventually get a partial refund because of this. When I chose this hotel, I was looking for one that had air conditioning, and this feature is stated on the website for the hotel. When we arrived, it was very hot in both rooms and the temperature cannot be adjusted in the room. When I tried to get the air conditioning fixed, I was told that the temperature cannot be decreased under 26 degrees Celsius (78.8 Fahrenheit). The temperature cannot be controlled from the room. Most of the time, it seemed that the A/C wasn’t even on, and I was so hot that I was sweating. I did notice that the temperature in the lobby was always much cooler than in our rooms though. If you are looking for a hotel with air conditioning, you won’t be comfortable here. The customer service varied greatly depending on who was at the front desk. Some people were great and some definitely were not. The rooms are only cleaned once per week, but I didn’t mind that. The hotel uses thin, papery mattress covers that seem to be disposable and continually slip off of the mattress. I found myself constantly trying to put the mattress covers and sheets back in place to avoid sleeping on the bare mattress. The covers tear very easily, which made it difficult. This was very annoying. Overall, our stay wasn’t horrible, but we didn’t enjoy this hotel and were happy to check out. I won’t stay here the next time that I am in Paris for an extended stay.
