Hotels near VERSACE (PARIS SAINT-HONORÉ), Paris

The hotel's entrance is not obvious, but the location is very good, very close to the Louvre, Lafayette is not far away, go out to the shopping street, there are Giorgio Ar***i, Louis Vitton, Chloe, Celine and so on. The hotel bathroom and bathing area are separate and the facilities are modern. Some rooms can accommodate an extra bed. Breakfast is Western food, good quality, if you can have a little Chinese food, after all, there are quite a lot of Chinese people. Wenhua's service is as good as ever. Going to Paris later is still the first choice.

Staff, concierge, and services were great. It does have a small elevator, but its new and not meant for a football team. Breakfast had excellent coffee and choices to get going. The breakfast experience was pleasant, and started the day great. The room was clean and updated, good shower, linens, and there is a safe. Small, but we didn't intend on spending any time in the room. the location works great, small walk to subway (didn't use because of the strikes) small walk to the local train station, and Roissey bus which is also not bad to use. The bus was not running when we came in, so we took an overpriced cab. (don't do that). Very short walk if you average 3-4 miles a day like we did, to the Louvre, place de la Concorde, Orangerie, D'Orsay, and Isle de la Citie. (in another direction, Eiffel tower isn't far). Lots of dining nearby, ATM, groceries. Again, staff was helpful with our bad French, and it all worked out great.

It's a bit cramped for two people to sleep on a 1.2-meter-wide bed. Other than that, there's nothing to be picky about. The location and price are there. When you go out to play, you should put the door number at the front desk. It is very safe. There is a Chinese restaurant next door, which is very poor. If you walk about ten meters away, there is a good one called Girlfriend Desserts, which also has noodles and rice, and is cheap and good.

I had a double room. It was very clean and calm, with a large bathroom. The rooms' decoration is certainly dated and basic but it is functional. The person at the reception the day I left was extremely helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located: about 100m from Gare Saint Lazare (and the metro) and very close to shops and large department stores in a very lively neighbourhood. I would happily stay there again. Great value for money.

OMG! Where do I start, there is so many things to list what’s wrong with this hotel. I don’t have all day to waste typing a terrible review which it deserves. My only regret is not having a body cam attached, cause for sure an Oscar award for best comedy horror would be a just reward for enduring a single nights stay from the hotel from Hell. Seems like the only thing they got right with this hotel is the name ‘Opera’ (Oscar Award) Deauville (Devil). From the start there was a breakdown in communication due to the fact the receptionists english was reduced significantly. After a long trip and checking-in you might want a nice hot shower before going out. Expect just under warm at best. Instead you might want to top up your body temperature with a cup of hot tea, well, expect to share a tea bag if you are travelling with a partner. When I asked for more tea bags at reception, I was told ‘I gave you that one for free’. Also, the combination of luggage, stairs, and lifts to your room, should flow smoothly like most hotels ‘Right!’… Nope, instead it is the moment your nightmare begins and you start to realise and say to yourself ‘DAMM IT!! why didn’t I F¥€%ing!! read this review on tripadvisor before I booked this hotel from Hell’. Not only did the coffin sized lift breakdown the first night, which meant we had to climb up several flights of a very tiny spiral staircase. Finally getting into our room, we could here our neighbours through the paper thin walls all night. Dusty small rooms, and unclean shower, we couldn’t get out of this hotel quick enough. Honestly not worth the price, pay more if needed but avoid this hotel from Hell, not just for your holiday experience, but more importantly health and safety reasons. You have been warned.

I have quite honestly never stayed in a more friendly hotel the staff were, without exception, amazing. They couldn’t do enough to help and every one we encountered was lovely and incredibly helpful. The hotel is well located away from the madding crowd but within a few steps of bars, restaurants and the hustle and bustle of central Paris. I needed a room with three single beds which many hotels don’t offer but this one does. The room was large (originally 2 rooms maybe) - with windows to the front and back of the property and a large bathroom. The room and bathroom were immaculate and nicely furnished, the bathroom was like new. The beds are really comfortable, we all commented on them, and we all slept well. All rooms are accessible by the spiral staircase but there is also a small lift. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back. The Wi-Fi was great, and tv channels plentiful. We didn’t make use of the in-house breakfast preferring to make the best use of the beautiful weather and eating outside.

The room is clean and ok, the bathroom as well. The breakfast is perfect and the stuff is very willing to help. The location is closely to the Metro station, so all in all everything fine and for sure a good recommendation to stay!

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. The breakfast is pretty good. It's not a cafeteria. It's a one-by-one set meal. Extra money is added. An extra bed is available, but the king size bed is really big. The location of the hotel is very good, just near the Eiffel Tower, but if you don't choose a view room, you can only see the street view. The design and collection of the hotel lobby are the highlights. Don't miss the small garden, it is very beautiful. As far as the room is concerned, it can only be said to be average, and the service is indeed very good. When checking in at the front desk, there were Chinese receptionists, and the communication was smooth. Overall it's pretty good.

The hotel is in a really nice position very close to the metro station of Jaurès that can get you basically everywhere. The place was clean and there is the chance to leave there your luggage if you come to early for check in or if you need to leave it after check out. That earns the 2 stars in my review. Unfortunately this was probably my worst experience in a hotel. Checking in I was told that we got an upgrade and, instead of our view on the city we got what is supposedly a better room facing an internal wall. I must say that I am not sure if that was really an upgrade because it didn't feel like it - and this makes me wonder what would have been a regular room. Rooms are poorly insulated and I could hear perfectly what was going on in the rooms next to our. The cleaning was good, but unfortunately the cleaning lady forgot to close our door and, when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon, we found the door open. The only answer we got when we reported the issue was ”oh, that's not good” - indeed it isn't. Growing up in a similar business I have been taught to do what it take to make happy your guests and I found odd that I couldn't get a couple of spoons when I asked for them (”breakfast is closed now so we don't have spoons”). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The price doesn't match the service.
