Enough to get my R & R

The hotel was as clean as it can be given the age and need of improvements. The property itself was litter free, the room was clean, despite its aging. The trim, walls, caulking, carpet, etc. are all far too old for the room to be considered "clean". However, the shower, sink, toilet were spotless. Everything worked, too. The carpet felt "clammy", but surprisingly enough, my feet and socks were not dirty walking on it. So the room was a clean as an aged room in need of renovation can be. The service desk employee was friendly and kind. The one other staff I met, cleaning, was very kind, too. The hotel is situated on the side of town away from the "main" shopping eating area. The bed was clean and very comfortable! The room smelled clean, too. There is a dorm sized refrigerator with small freezer, a microwave oven and full sized sink. The AC worked very well. I had it on 78 degrees, set on cool and low! The telephone is push button and there are no USB ports. I carry a small square palm sized two outlet/two USB port plug-in, so I was fine with charging up. I am familiar with Parker and it is tiny and quiet town. The motel was no exception. There were other people staying, but I heard no one. I ate at Chinese Garden for the first time, I highly recommend it, so delicious and friendly. It is in walking distance. There is a Walmart, very nice Safeway, CVS, Colorado River Nation Museum and several fast food, local places to eat and filling stations.

Good service

We just needed a quick overnite stay and this Budget Inn was a fairly good value considering other places cost more. The staff was adequate, we had to wait a few minutes for someone to check us in but then it went well. The room was clean, WiFi worked well, water was hot, TV was a good size. Room was a little small but overall decor was nice. It's very close to the main street with a few dining options within walking distance or short drive.

Fencing around the property is in need of repairs

We drove five hours to our destination, Parker, Arizona. Get there to check in and was told everything was canceled. Three in the morning and nowhere to go. We were told the manager canceled and I had never canceled and made my reservations and they didn’t hold up to it. We slept in the parking lot at Safeway.!!!

Nothing fancy. Just clean, basic place to stay.

Will not be back to this motel. Over-priced room that is tiny, cramped, dated, smells like dirty gym socks, not maintained, or clean. Our commode was not secured to the floor and in dire need of new wax ring as sewer smells rose up into the bathroom. Can barely squeeze one person into the tiny bathroom/shower. And how about the loud, blaring train passing by around 2:30am? "No thank you!" to this property. I'm being very generous giving it a 2 rating.

Old and very poorly maintained. Owners do the bare minimum. Tiny shower, no tub. Pool was OK. Would only reccomend in an emergency. Had to park RV in side alley due to tiny parking lot.
