Arrived at the hotel on 9th September to find that the hotel had been sold and was not open for business. Despite having booked (and paid for a room), we were not able to stay at the hotel, hence the low rating (should really be zero as we were turned away). Calling the original contact telephone number just goes to an automated message that the number is no longer connected.

Worst hotel we have stayed in.Very small room only had a double bed.Ensuite so small had to use toilet lid to put toiletries on..Very musty damp smell.Window wouldn't shut properly,wind made bad whistling noise.Reception was closed at 4.15.Had to ring twice before someone came to us.They couldn't find key to room.Overall a very bad experience,will not be back.

Located a bit of a way from the town centre, Our room and the motel overall looks as though it has undergone a refurbishment and is in very good condition. Our room was a bit on the smallish side and the bathroom was minuscule, probably the smallest bathroom I have encountered in a motel. My biggest gripe - no bed lamp next to my bed, but otherwise, the room contained all the facilities one expects in good motels these days. The highlight - the in house restaurant. We did not want to drive into town looking for somewhere to eat, so we elected to remain at the motel and eat at their restaurant. The food (we had the filet mignon) was excellent and probably the best we have encountered in a regional motel. Worth staying in for.

Great place to stay, small room and bathroom, which suited me, but there are a variety of room sizes available, comfortable bed, very clean, staff are lovely. Restaurant atmosphere and food delish,awesome bar and all services with a smile 👍😊

I have recently stayed at Hotel Gracelands and will be back to stay again. The bed was comfortable and rooms clean. The absolute winner was the restaurant, IKON. I can highly recommend - the food was amazing, so much so I ate there all 3 nights. As another reviewer wrote, I stayed in Room #10. It is now set up as a room for solo traveller (single bed) and there was enough space with how it was set up. The the only downside was room can be noisy due to it being next to the restaurant and carpark/restaurant 'beer garden'. Next time I'll be sure to book a different room but that aside, I will stay here again and recommend it to others. The hosts and staff were also friendly.

Never have I come across staff nicer and more accommodating then the ones at Gracelands Hotel, the rooms have a modern feel and very clean, the high standards in the restaurant continue across the whole hotel. A special mention to Scott and the friendly waitress (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) in the restaurant, you guys are awesome! I will be recommending this hotel far and wide and Gracelands is now the ONLY hotel we will be staying in when we come to Parkes.

This is not your typical hotel as such, more like a motel. Lovely rooms comfy beds well decked out. New owners very helpful and welcoming. Stayed for dinner in restaurant it was very busy, which tells you something. The food was very good and not too expensive, wine by the bottle reasonably priced. All in all great place to stay.

Amazing!!! The restaurant was amazing! Food was fresh and the service amazing! Accommodation was perfect! Recommend to everyone! If your looking for somewhere to eat or stay in the parkes area 100% book here! Beds soft as.. motel clean.. food awesome

Our room (#3) was certainly compact, with barely a metre on either side of the bed, but suitably equipped with fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery. The bathroom was even closer. And the lack of shower curtain, in spite of a railing of rings, placed everything in chance of a wetting when showering. Being on the edge of town it was quiet for traffic noise.
