It was truly an outstanding experience. Mr. Xu ended up driving us around for our entire stay - from tea stores to local Dai village, till sending us to the train station. We tasted amazing teas, tried local foods, made tea cakes, went to see ancient tea tree with him; he even invited us to dinner with his friends. Breakfast is amazing with view of clouds; the restaurant in the hotel has really good food. Fruit plate every afternoon; tea tasting with Jiangjiang, a Laobanzhang tea expert. We leaned so much about puer tea and tasted some of the best puer teas in the region. One of the most unforgettable stay ever for us and we are so grateful!

I have always wanted to have a tea trip, so our first stop in Xishuangbanna was Nannuo Mountain. After checking a lot of information online, we found that the Tea House B&B was on Nannuo Mountain, and the boss could take us around the tea mountain according to the reviews. So we contacted the boss on the bus passing Xishuangbanna. After getting the affirmation, we got off the high-speed rail station at around 8 o'clock in the evening and rented a car to drive here without eating. It was around 9 o'clock in the evening when we arrived at the B&B. The boss and his wife were very enthusiastic. When they learned that we had not eaten, the boss's wife personally cooked rice noodles for us. This was the best and most authentic Yunnan rice noodles we had eaten in Yunnan for more than a week. After that, the boss also entertained us with his own ancient tree tea, introduced us to the local tea and customs and culture, and probably because it was off-season, he also upgraded my room type for free. The next day, the boss arranged breakfast and lunch for free. The hospitality of the boss and his wife and the family-like treatment made us feel warm and felt that we had taken advantage of it. On the second day, the boss drove us to visit the first ancient tree, invited us to taste authentic tea eggs, reserved a basket of tea for us to experience tea frying, and arranged the itinerary clearly. Suddenly we had an illusion that we were not here to stay, but more like to come to a tea house. In addition to thanks, thanks! Let's get back to the point: 1. Facilities: The room facilities are complete and everything is available. It seems that it was renovated last year, which is very suitable for people like us who have high requirements for accommodation. (Note: We have always chosen newer and highly rated hotels and have never tried to step on pits) 2. Hygiene: Clean and neat. 3. Environment: Elegant and quiet. The room we stayed in has a balcony. When we opened the door, we could see the mountain. In the morning, the mountain was surrounded by fog, and it felt like we had strayed into a fairyland! 4. Service: The boss's family is honest and simple, and treats people sincerely and warmly. People don't feel that they are running a homestay, but entertaining family and friends. I really worry that they will suffer if they continue like this. In general, this was a very pleasant ”stay” experience, but the time was short. Nannuo Mountain has beautiful mountains, beautiful scenery, good people and good tea, which makes people linger. I will come again next year. I stayed 3 nights and would love to have stayed more! I came for the tea and could not be happier with my experience. I learned a ton about how pu’er tea is made and graded and marketed and sold. My hosts were super-nice - they treated me like family. Special thanks to Abu, whose singing is nothing short of angelic. When she sang during my check-in I was amazed but worried that locals were expected to sing for guests. But a highlight of my stay - of my entire trip to China - was listening to her sing when she was working around the guesthouse and thought no one was listening. A quick piece of advice for new guests: get out and explore the local village/market/mountain. There’s so much to see here, and your hosts are proud of their community and culture and will help you appreciate it.

Room: The hotel is very new, the room decoration is also new, and the overall cleanliness is very good. There is an elevator, so you don't have to climb the stairs with your luggage, which is convenient. STRONG ADVOCATES! Stunning experience with a Bulang family. We stayed in the quaint guesthouse in the standalone suite with two double bed rooms and a sweet balcony and tea table. The design is soothing and surrounding nature is a welcomed change for city dwellers. That said, one has to be ready for this proximity to nature (mosquito repellent and ear plugs for early rooster crows). It was the perfect start to our exploration in Yunnan as the host and her brother’s family took us under their wing to show us the tea plantation, roasting, and how to appreciate the local teas. This truly was a most beautiful experience of the warmest hospitality and such vivid insights about the community and stories of development that has been experienced. We learnt so much about the tea varieties and traditions here, giving us anthropological insights and inspiring stories of resilience and growth. The village is well sized for walking around to the tea plantation, temple, cultural museum, and sunset lookout. Do give yourself a couple of days here at least.

This homestay really exceeded my expectations. The environment is very good and the rooms are very clean. Even the toiletries are international brands. The hair dryer is also Dyson. These products can be used at such a price, indicating that the boss is really conscience. Finally, the service of the young lady at the front desk and the younger brother is really nothing to say, for fear that you will not be satisfied with your stay.

Very distinctive hotel, just in the scenic spot of Lijinglai is a national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot, Chinese Yi cultural protection and inheritance demonstration base. The scenic spot is about 5 kilometers away from Daluo Port, and is east of Myanmar, which has the reputation of ”China-Myanmar First Village”. It preserves and reflects the more complete Yi traditional ”dry column” architectural form, agricultural pattern, living space, ethnic religion and cultural customs. It integrates natural landscape and humanistic landscape, and organically combines traditional village protection, agricultural leisure and cultural tourism industry development. The room is clean and the room layout is reasonable. The supporting facilities in the room are complete and the quality is online. The two beds are medium in size. The hotel staff is warm and thoughtful, and the whole process from check-in to check-out is patient and meticulous. The price is super high, whether it is a business trip or a trip with friends and family, this hotel's twin room is a great choice, highly recommended!

The boss is very good, sing to the guests to help, and explain the culture of the ethnic minorities in Yunnan. The sister who helped is the Yi nationality. The boss is enthusiastic to show the way to the tea king tree path, saving a kilometer of distance. When there are few people, you may still eat the barbecue grilled by the boss himself.
