Amazing
YYu ChengLocation is not exactly in the heart of the city, but it is not far away. Very clean and I personally love the facility and design of the hotel, the cherry on top is the heart warming service, overall definitely worth the price if you want a comfy and classy place to stay it's the one, but if you want a room with river view, maybe go with Intercontinental or marriot but their appearance does not look to nice
GGuest UserFor me, this is the best hotel in Budapest, and I've stayed there several times. The rooms are better than the neighboring Grand Hotel. The thermal area is magnificent. In the morning or after sightseeing, a swim in the sports pool or a soak in the thermal pool is an added treat. The island on which the hotel is located is a picturesque place in itself. Bus 26 runs regularly and on schedule. Although there are many places to eat in Budapest, we booked dinners and didn't regret it. Lots of fruit, cheeses, two types of soup—everything was delicious. Honestly, I don't want to write a review of this hotel, lest everyone know about this gem of Budapest.
WweitseIt was fantastic! Our family stayed one night.
It's not far from the airport bus stop. I wanted to stay here again on my return trip, but there were no rooms available.
It has a small terrace where you can prepare your own breakfast, which was wonderful.
The whole family was very satisfied.
AAnonymous UserLocation is uninteresting and the hotel is only worth the stay if you absolutely need to be at this location (stadium or bus station). The room I got was small and dark, facing inward and without windows that could open. I asked to change to a room facing the street with more natural light but was told there were no free rooms left. Instead I received a coupon for a free drink in the restaurant, which was a nice gesture but did not solve the problem because the music was too loud to be able to work quietly there. The breakfast (not included; approx. HUF 4000 or EUR 10 ) was good value for money. Staff was very friendly (except for one male receptionist) but inexperienced and slow. Absolutely ridiculous that no drinking water is provided nor a water kettle in the room to boil (chlorine) tap water. I ended up having to buy two tiny bottles (250 cl) for HUF 1200 (EUR 3) each at the reception. If it wasn't for it's proximity to the bus station (Flixbus) I would not stay here.
MMirabdulOur recent stay at the Pullman Budapest was largely positive, though with a couple of minor hiccups. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed by the fantastic service and the hotel's unexpected kindness in upgrading our room.
The room itself was quite stylish and comfortable, featuring a clean, minimalist aesthetic with a large, inviting bed and crisp white linens, as seen in the photo. The artistic wall mural behind the bed added a unique touch of warmth and color to the space. The bathroom, which appears to be integrated into the room's design, was modern and well-appointed with a sleek sink and ample towel storage.
However, our initial experience was marred by a blocked sink in our upgraded room, which, while frustrating, was resolved within two days. Another somewhat unusual incident occurred late one night when we requested a refill for our water bottles; we were asked to bring the bottles down to the reception for refilling, which felt a bit unconventional for a hotel of this caliber.
Despite these minor issues, the Pullman Budapest proved to be a decent hotel, offering good service and comfortable accommodations.
BBARZAN ISMAELI had a wonderful experience staying at the Danubius Hotel Hungaria City Center. The location was perfect — close to the city center and very convenient for public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again on my next visit to Budapest!
GGuest UserMy boyfriend booked the hotel for my birthday and the hotel prepared dessert, fruits and Champagne for us for celebrating my birthday, it’s so lovely and much appreciated for this. Also, there was a mini bar in the room, we could get free drinks every day as well as coffee machine. The view of the room is good, we could see the city from the window. Overall, it’s a cute place to stay with a cheap price.
GGuest UserReading the reviews, overall I was expecting worse. The room was a little dated but clean, the bathroom ditto. Clean sheets and towels. On the other hand, the pillows offered are really uncomfortable, the mini bar is not working and the breakfast is very poor and without a sweet proposal: I went on for three days on bread, butter and jam. The staff were friendly enough and the location was excellent for getting to the center by public transport.
