I chose to stay here on the last night before leaving Iceland. The landlord is a very kind local, loves life, the house is cleanly arranged, and it can be seen from many small details.

The restaurant tastes good. I have eaten a few hotels. This is the best. I personally feel very satisfied and very quiet. One night, there is a stargazing activity that is a plus. There are many stars in the sky and I also see the aurora!

The town is beautiful! The room is large and the bathroom is large. It is more comfortable for a family of three. There is a restaurant downstairs. It is convenient to solve the dinner and breakfast. It is also good. It is a very suitable place to rest in the middle of the black beach to the Golden Circle.

We are really disappointed at the stay of the Aurora Igloo as it didn’t mention that there’s no toilet inside the room. We have to walk for 100m outside to get the bathroom as the winter is so cold and windy in December. Moreover, the hotel heater isn’t working really well, so we didn’t stay for the second night. As we have spoken to the owner, he says that we are able to receive refund in to my card. Thank you.

Good breakfast, service is very good, it is worth staying next time

The room is not big, but it is very warm, there are large windows, the window is the countryside, the boss is very good, there is a hot bathtub, very comfortable, very suitable for staying for one night before going to the Highlands
