MMK LohBreakfast buffet ( included in the hotel price) is very delicious with many varieties, especially freshly squeezed fruit, vegetable juice, fruits like apples, pineapples, mangoes which were not available in my previous hotel at Toyoko Inn at Fukuyama.
However, my only problem was my knee issue ( chronic joints pain) as it was a bit difficult due to pain to get onto the elevated bathroom in the room.

GGuest UserRoom is small. Stayed one night and over the weekend hence the room rate was high. Also it coincided with the marathon. There was free parking which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The hotel staff are not very conversant in English and it is not near the city centre. There was however a very big supermarket nearby where we could pick foodstuff for our journey up north. Came back to Himeji a week later and this time I stayed at a hotel located in the city centre where there are a lot of parking around it.

GGuest UserHotel has the usual amenities at the reception, one will need to take the night gown from the level 1 cabinet. The hotel provide home cooked breakfast which was quite tasty. Not sure if the slippers are clean as they were not in any packaging. Overall good value to price ratio.

YY_baeThe sixth time I came to Japan, I have lived in Toyoko several times. The service attitude of this front desk is the worst I have ever seen in Japan! Worse than some domestic front desks, even it is not a problem of service or service, it is completely rude!
Other than that, there is no problem, very clean, and the location is convenient.

IIrene SheApart from the water supply issue in the room, the rest are perfect. The breakfast was good, and the night views from the hotel was spectacular. The water supply in the room was too slow, and I had to go to the public bathroom for brushing teeth. The staff offered to upgrade us to another room, but we don't like the 2 single beds room so we decided to stay in the one King bedroom that we reserved.

LlarryszeIt was my first time to experience a hot spring hotel. Overall it was very comfortable. Although it is not a new modern hotel, it was a good feeling to experience Japanese culture. There were more Japanese people staying this time. Although we were tourists, the staff entertained us very warmly. Dinner and breakfast were very rich. Although the road is a bit far from the city center, it is still worthwhile to experience this hotel. The room is very large and the scenery is great. It's so spectacular. There are small bugs in the natural environment. It is recommended not to open the windows. Everything else is impeccable. The hotel's care products are also very complete and facial masks are provided. Overall, it is highly recommended.

JJonathan Tak ShingMy wife and I stayed at a Japanese-Style Room with Japanese Cypress Open-Air Bath on the Terrace. The hotel has English speaking staff who was very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were amazing, and the servers Mr Shiraiwa and Ms Yamaguchi provided excellent services. This is one of the best onsen ryokans we have experienced, and we look forward to returning.

ZZhaowenIt is a little far from Himeji station, so is it inconvenient when the weather is bad? However, there are convenience stores and McDonald's nearby, so it is convenient. The facilities are aging, but other surrounding hotels are similar, and I didn't use the large communal bath or free food and drink this time, but it's a good deal, so I definitely want you to use it. orz
