Arriving in Onomichi, I discovered that U2, the most iconic building in the area, is a complex of hotels, restaurants, shops, and a cycling club. The only drawback was the lack of body lotion. Given Osaji's high-quality amenities, and considering Japan's dry climate, body lotion is essential in a space without a humidifier. The hotel offers bicycle rental by reservation, but if you don't have a reservation, you can rent from the adjacent Giant shop, which has a wide selection of models. The hotel has a cafe and bakery right next to each other, so you can buy bread and then grab a coffee. The harbor view is amazing, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't great due to the rainy season.
