Tracy was great and very responsive. We got to the apartment very late after our Hobbiton tour and was happy to see many food options. Check in was easy with the instructions provided. Stay was pleasant and the apartment was well furnished with very new dishwasher, kitchen utilities and washing machine. Our only minor complaint is that we wished there was a dryer for our clothes as well. Highly recommended. Once again, thank you Tracy. Regards. Jon

The accommodation was modern, immaculately clean, and provided a high level of comfort. The cleaning staff excelled, delivering service that surpassed expectations. Overall, the experience was positive. However, it would have been beneficial to be informed in advance that the check-in office is located offsite, requiring approximately a 4 minute drive from the main premises. This information would have streamlined the arrival process.

Clean spacious room....beautiful spa bath, polite cleaners Central location to food hubs and supermarkets.. Really enjoyed staying here.Highly recommend👍

Very comfortable bed and room. Reasonable gym. Excellent breakfast.

The rooms were excellent, comfy bed, had everything we needed receptionist was friendly and helpful, excellent value for money, will be back to stay next time we are passing through.

Hygate Motel offers a quiet and clean environment that made for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities conveniently provided. The bed was especially comfortable, and the location was close to shops and cafes. There was also ample parking space, which made everything more convenient. Overall, a highly satisfying experience for the price.

Facilities are all good and decent. Management staff were helpful with checkin process which is complex.  Motel itself doesnt have its own reception but checkin is at different motel which is 2-3 minutes away. The only disappointment we had in our stay was the cleaners turned up well before 10 am, knocked on door and straight away entered into room while we were in there to question when are we leaving. Very disappointed with this approach of cleaning staff and they should not walk into room at all without consent. Management needs to set some expectations with cleaners. Apart from that all good.

This is a really nice hostel with nice staff. Fast check-in, fast check-out. They have luggage storage for 5 NZD for the whole day. I has a nice night here.

When l arrived at the Motel l found out that when l was doing the booking l should have taken note that there is no reception on site. When l rang the purported site the call was not a friendly one.I took an uber to collect the keys .And soon as l opened the door to my room which was room 9 l was discombobulated. It appeared no house keeping had been done prior to my moving in.The bins were all full of rubbish. The bedding had not been changed .Two McDonald’s empty drinks by the sink area. Two cups and a spoon in the sink see photos.I was then moved to room 7 which appeared to be clean but that inconvenience made me enraged😡

My stay at Alcamo Motel was overall pleasant. The staff were friendly and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The location is convenient, close to the city center of Hamilton, with plenty of parking available. However, the facilities felt a bit outdated, which was slightly disappointing. With some renovations, this place could definitely attract even more guests. Overall, a decent stay for the price.
