Very Good
RRubyThe Marayaw , it’s a breakfast area, the food was good, the staff were all attentive, knowing that my food was specifically Halal. They were very accommodating, attentive. Thanks Dusit Davao. Had the most productive meeting in the lounge of the hotel.
YYkhca_TravelsWe arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for.
When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem.
Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.
RRyan11nayRLocation is near to the banks, church, 711, souvenir shop and some restaurants
Hotel room is old and the bed and pillow is not good, no bider
Good thing is they provide drinking water at the hallway
AAvid_TravelerPros
- clean comfortable room
- near the cost line with view over the channel
- super polite staff
- great family pool area
- used to the place being full so it’s organised extremely well
- 24 hour room service
Cons
- no concierge to greet new guests getting out of taxis
- No one to show you to your room! Have to find your own way.
- loud banging doors waking guests very early in the morning due to neighbours from doors next to one another (see pictures)
- bird poo all over the windows (see pictures)
- breakfast buffet was just okay.. self service coffee and not great food.
A decent hotel but somewhat ruined by poor welcome and the early morning noise of other guests. Ask for a quiet rooms.
Bbluefish123I actually really like this hotel. Its location is super convenient, with lots of restaurants nearby and close proximity to the airport.
However, this stay was a bit disappointing. When I checked in, the front desk informed me that the hotel's central water heater was out of order, and I appreciate them letting me know upfront – that's good service. But I stayed for three nights and had no hot water for showers for all three. That's a deal-breaker for me.
BBroshStaff are very approachable and considerate. The elevator doesn't work when you are from the 4th floor. The floor under the beds need sweeping. Would stay again because of its affordability, nearness to Bangkerohan market, San Pedro cathedral, and easy access to a lot of affordable food options and public transportation.
MMy Beautiful GaiaThe place is neat and clean the bed is heavenly comfortable the bedding so white and clean and the whole room itself from the fixtures of bathroom to the tiles isn’t cheap ac,hot and cold shower works perfect - maybe this is a new hotel, and there is also a pool which I have missed to look it up in the rooftop… The location is very close by to SM-lanang- though do not expect the area is upscale it’s in the neighborhood of people lives on their ordinary living
- the hotel serves only a Filipino breakfast Nothing else what’s on their list is what all you get! And it’s Not appetizing ! - the front staff are friendly and just okay but they are not so attentive to you and No idea how to give any details to help you out and about the City 😑 … Grab is your butler anyway… and SM-lanang is a big bonus to this place where you can find the eats all you want ! Lastly, Free drinking water in dispenser and free Hot water any time …
YYkhca_TravelsWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the heart of the city. My partner and I experienced excellent service, mainly when an incident arose that required us to visit the hospital. The staff were exceptionally cooperative in providing an incident report, which was incredibly helpful for our insurance reimbursement process.
While the hotel is somewhat older and the amenities could be upgraded, I still felt very comfortable during our stay.
I would recommend this place.
