Guest UserNice hotel, which is newly opened in August, 2025. Obviously very clean.
I stayed for two nights. The view towards the Downtown DC and the Potomac river was exceptional.
The location was great - very walkable to the Rosslyn station.
One short fall was the front desk. I think as it is new, the employee lacked professionalism or may lack training.
Approximately 3:55 am in the first night, the hotel suddenly charged my credit card, which was previously used for deposit when checking in.
It was really distressing to be awaken in the middle of the night for a large amount of unauthorized transaction.
As worried for a potential fraudulent use, I wasn't able to sleep back.
Early next morning, I made a inquiry to the front gently but the employee simply replied that was a system error in a very indifferent manner.
The response of just treating it as if it isn't anything and later to be released anyway was disproportionate its facility.
I think that there is room for further improvement on the hotel' transaction system or service quality.

Our family traveled to Washington by car in February, and this hotel is highly recommended. Self-parking is 44 dollars per night, and guest parking is 49 dollars per night, which is a bit expensive. If you park by yourself in the underground parking lot, you need to spend time looking for a parking space. The hotel has its own shuttle bus to the subway station, which is quite convenient. You can reach tourist check-in points in the city within a few subway stops. Cleanliness and service are average at Renaissance.

What a gem in the middle of Ballston! Beautiful views, great location, top notch amenities. In particular, Derrick at the check in desk went above and beyond to make my stay very comfortable - would definitely stay there again.

Guest UserThe toilets are relatively small and the hotel is very new. You must ask for water from the front desk and you need to take a taxi to the city center. But the price is right and close to the airport.

The room is large, with two Queen-size beds, and can accommodate 4 adults.
But the heating has some problems. It will blow cold air at a certain temperature, and it doesn't work to turn it off. You can only keep turning up the temperature, but it's very dry.
The breakfast is a buffet, 29 dollars per person, plus tax and tip, about 40. When booking on Ctrip, it says that the breakfast is 15 per person, but the hotel doesn't have this option.
The location is right next to the airport, there is a free bus, and it takes only five minutes to get there, which is very convenient for catching a flight.

Guest UserThe rooms here are comfortable and I like the modern decor and features in the room & bath...the shower is wonderful. Since my stay was during the pandemic, the services had been reduced but there was a morning coffee service that helped get the day going. I also appreciated the on-site laundry room. The machines in the gym were equipped with individual t.v. monitors. The hotel also has a shuttle to national airport. The best part of the hotel is the excellent/friendly service you receive from the staff.
The only recommendation I would make would be to inform guests about dining options since the hotel could not provide anything b/c of covid. A few take-out menus or a list of nearby options (even if just posted in the lobby) would be helpful.

It was good to enjoy good service at a good hotel.. The staff was friendly at the time of check-in and the condition of the room was excellent. The room was so good that I wanted to stay again and I would like to recommend it to other salma. All the facilities, including the amenities in the room, were perfect. It's a two-star hotel, but I don't know why it's two. I think it's okay to make it a little more generous and give it about four stars. It has the advantage of location. You should enjoy it, too.

Kang PetrusEverything’s good . the only thing that surprised me was the expensive parking fee of $48 plus tax.

Stayed at Holiday Inn National Airport / Crystal City during my Washington DC trip and had a genuinely great experience.
The location is a big plus — very convenient for Reagan National Airport and easy access into central DC. Getting around was straightforward, whether by Metro or quick Uber rides.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Nothing overly fancy, but exactly what you want after a long day of sightseeing — a reliable, quiet place to rest. Housekeeping was consistent and everything felt well looked after.
Service stood out the most. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, from check-in to daily interactions. Small touches like offering breakfast vouchers and being responsive made a difference.
Breakfast itself was solid — good variety and a convenient way to start the day without needing to head out immediately.
Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money in the DC area. It’s not a luxury stay, but it delivers very well on comfort, convenience, and service. I’d definitely stay here again for a future visit.

The room facilities are not bad, and the sanitation is not bad. There is a supermarket near the hotel, which is also very convenient. It is also very close to Cascade, about ten minutes' walk, and the service is also very good
