Washoe County Hotels with Free Parking.

Excellent location. Spacious 2 bedroom unit with kitchen. Decor a little tired. Very friendly front desk staff. Unfortunately, the beach shuttle they suggested never came and we were told we needed a punch card to access the beach (which we were not given). Also, they recommended the Heavenly Valley gondola ride but it only runs weekends after Labor Day (we had asked about it on a weekday). In other similar hotel or timeshare type accommodations we have stayed in, guests are usually provided with a list of local activities, restaurants, etc. We found everything out on our own but it would have been nice to have had this information. Again, the front desk staff were all great!

Hotel is part of a casino. The building is aged but well maintained. Parking is free but availability can be a challenge, especially after 5PM. Room is clean and spacious. Staff are friendly.

The hotel room is large and the sanitary conditions are very good. The parking lot is enough to stop at will. Breakfast is a typical British American breakfast and you can eat. The front desk service was very good. I didn't pay attention to pulling the credit card in the suitcase on the first day of check-in. I didn't let the card be swiped. I let the check-in first. Overall hotel is good!

I usually love staying at this hotel but on this trip I had lots of trouble. Special events took up all parking spaces and I had to park off property after cruising for 30 minutes with no space available. The pool area was having a rock music beach party until 11 pm on the night I was departing and needed to wake at 5:30 am for my flight. No staff warned me of this late night party that created serious noise in the tower I was in that faced the pool. Hotel front desk offered ear plugs but no apology or offer to change rooms. To add insult to injury I asked for a wake up call that never happened. Luckily I had my phone to wake me although I got very little sleep.

This was my second time staying at this hotel! I love it so much and highly recommend it! Unfortunately we didn’t realize that this hotel accepted animals and my 16month old is highly allergic to pet dander . We did talk to someone about this being accommodated in the future. Also I wish there was better food options that weren’t frozen and possibly more accommodating/accessible for allergies . My daughter has a wheat allergy, soy, dairy, egg, to name a few and we practically had to bring our own food for her

Room was nice but really small for $227.00 for one night. Upon arriving and getting a first floor room found that the outside window to the parking lot was open and could have easily allowed someone to come in. Maintenance fixed it but it was a little disconcerting. Everything else was fine and the morning buffet was very good. There was an additional charge on my credit card for $22.00 that wasn't explained and that was irritating. I would stay there again however as the inconveniences mentioned weren't disqualifying. Customer service at the counter and from housekeeping were very good.

We came up for Hot August Nights, because they do have a dedicated parking area for show participants. We do appreciate that! In the parking garage, there were several spots of urine that were there for the duration of our four days. Maybe the pressure wash that once in a while? Wait for rain? At check-in, the front desk lady seemed to hate her life or job or being friendly in general. Her responses were short and rude. The room had a nice view of the pool area and it was a pretty view at night. But, to see the view you have to wrestle with two sets of curtains which was tough. I had to stand in the chair and grab the curtains from the top to move them. The beds were comfortable, so that's a plus. The bathroom was outdated, the shower head hits you in the chest, but would be perfect height for a 4'8” child. The shower curtain rod was coming off the wall on one side, I did let the front desk guy know at checkout. Restaurants were great, lots of choices between the three ”resorts” in the Row. There was a small in room fridge to put our leftovers in, and drinks. Their is a Keurig coffee pot, if you want cream in your coffee you'll want to call and ask for more! Overall, this was an ok stay for what we needed. But, for a grand for 3 nights I think we will be staying somewhere else next year, where we know everything has been upgraded.

Rooms old & dated.. no coffee makers in room and most mornings 2030 min wait for black coffee at Starbucks ( only 1 person working Monday morning. Rosie’s was the worst Sunday night-30 minute wait to get a table ( only 2 people in line ahead of us) and almost 30 minutes to get sandwiches that needed no cooking.. they too said they were short staffed. Went back another night but chicken dishes we ate were awful.. cooks need to learn how to make “Marsala sauce”  hot water in our room only working on and off.. don’t think we would comeback- though we come to sparks for baseball and stay 5 nights

The third-floor room was spacious and well-appointed (plates, cups, silverware, etc.) on our first night, but the same style first-floor room on our second visit was meant for handicapped persons and did not include the same appointments. Both rooms were quiet. The breakfast was good, but the eggs were from powder.

The hotel is affordable. Although the facilities are old, it is clean and sanitary. The bathroom is equipped with Dove. There is a Casino next to it. There happened to be a classic car exhibition that night, which was a feast for the eyes.
