Shoreside Inn & Suites

Our stay was for 2 nights. We were put on bottom floor. Room 101 Bed creaked very loudly with every movement. Big gap in bottom corner of door to outside. Shower squealed/whistled so loudly while running Pillows/cases were dirty and super lumpy. Bring your own pillows!! Fabric chairs were filthy! One ply ( if you can even call it that) toilet paper After getting no sleep we requested a new room. Got put in a room right above ours It was like a whole new hotel room! Shower didn’t squeal Bed didn’t make any noise There was 2 ply toilet paper AND a box of Kleenex! Air conditioner was very loud though In both rooms the floors looked clean but when wiping up water after a shower the towels were filthy There are gaps on the bottom of doors to outside. Bugs were getting in through the gaps especially at night when the outside lights come on. They are very bright even with blinds closed. Owner and housekeeping staff were very friendly

My husband, 2 dogs and I spent a night at the Inn. We will be back. The service was friendly and fast and the room was comfortable for us and the dogs. It was a five-minute walk to the beach. Restaurants are within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this place.

We just stayed last Saturday night as we had a Christmas party Saturday night and another event Sunday afternoon so this was better than driving back and forth to the city. It should be noted we are very familiar with Wab as we have a seasonal RV lot and boat slip down at the marina and tv park in town, but is not accessible during winter., so we decided this would be a good option. Second floor room 217. Double bed, fairly clean, old school motel smell we laughed about. Microwave and fridge were handy. Place is definitely showing its age but was clean enough and suited our needs for one night. There is apparently a continental breakfast but we didn’t try it (went to Jingles around the corner for breakfast, pretty good also). Apparently there is also a suite type room and looking back prob should have spent the extra lol. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to recommend for a night or two and convenient location in town. Could see us staying again for this type of situation though not in summer as we have our own place lol.

We stayed for the location. This place is just off the Lake, its clean and comfortable. It has a nice little kitchenette and the breakfast room was very nice and the owner allowed me to use it for a business interview. It was much appreciated. The staff (Shannon) was remarkable and helpful with all of our needs.

There aren’t many places to stay in this village, but I think there needs to be a few improvements. In every room, there’s a binder with lots of information about the hotel and places around and things to do. What I was annoyed about is how inaccurate the info was… “check out time is 12:00pm. Late checkouts may be arranged through the front desk.” As we’re getting ready to leave around 11:30am we get a knock on our window saying we had to check out, because checkouts at 11am. The book also mentioned a continental breakfast from 7am-10am. But when you go to the breakfast room it’s 7:30am-9:30am. And there’s a very limited selection. All I’m saying is, you can’t have one thing literally in writing and then come banging at my room saying something else. And when we did try checking out, the guy was no where to be found, no one was in the office, no sign saying all be back at whatever time. There are also little spiders in the room and even on the pillows when you crawl into bed at night. It is noisy, not only is there a train close by, but you can hear people having conversations in the parking lot or anyone that just walks passed your room.

We had a trip in August. The two rooms on the second floor were in poor condition and with unpleasant odors. As there were no other rooms, we had to leave. We cannot get our refund from ******* as this hotel refused to issue a refund.

Our family stayed here on July 30, 2023 on our way to Jasper National Park. The hotel was clean and very nice for families. We made tea in our room and there was a lovely breakfast in the morning with delicious waffles. The hosts were very welcoming. The hotel is near a nice lake.

We were traveling for a family birthday party. We stayed 4 nights at the Shoreside Inn. Everything about this place was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was always delicious waffles made by the manager. The motel was busy during this weekend, yet remained quiet for sleeping. We had several other family members staying at the motel as well, and they all commented how great it was. Great place, great price and great management. We will stay again.

Shoreside Inn is ideally located on the lakefront with amazing views of the sunrise and sunset. The restaurants and bar a 2 min walk and have great taste. With ample of parking space the place is recommended!!
