The location is super convenient, a few minutes walk to all the attractions. The Duomo is a few steps away. Many restaurants lose by. However, management and the staff are the real stars, friendly, helpful and accommodating. They make me feel so welcome. The rooms are spacious, very comfy bed. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed for business in Parma and made the mistake of choosing Starhotels Du Parc. The hotel is very old and in desperate need of refurbishment. Immediately when I saw the old and heavy metal room key, I realised my mistake. The room is large, but for 200 EUR a night, there is not even a free bottle of water. You can hear the noise from the neighbouring room even if someone is getting something from the wardrobe. Soundproofing is a disaster. Normally, the breakfast is fantastic in Italian hotels, but here it was a complete disappointment. The coffee machine in the breakfast room is an absolute shame, you have to ask for a proper espresso, and they can bring it to you from some other place (another room or bar) Free parking outside the hotel is available, but it is only for 10 cars and fills up quickly. There is some underground parking that is also unguarded, that is chargeable at 10 EUR per night. Find a better hotel in Parma and avoid this one at all cost

Good hotel,nice rooms, very clean. A parking lot is available directly next to the hotel. I recommend to take it Breakfast was good with a wide choice of things. However, the breakfast room is in the basement, that is, there are windows but you look onto the foundation if the building. There were two things I did not like: --The hotel is located next to the main railway station. We came back at 19 pm from a city walk and when we approched to hotel a lot of weird folks approached us e.g. groups of young man, junkies and generally weird persons. Some of the where really cooking crack 50 meters away from the hotels main entrance. This did not feel good. -The other thing was the fitness room. I had like 30 minutes in the morning,but the room was locked, although the reception desk told me it was open and I got no key though asking for it. So no gym for me.

We stayed two nights in the apartment. The entry was via a pin that we got via e-mail. The room was large and in great industrial chique, including a fully functional kitchen. The bath was modern and equally large. The rooms were clean and tidy. We were in the third floor, the ”office” is in the second floor with a few more rooms and a kitchen where breakfast is served - if booked. There are private parking slots in a gated area directly before the building. The train station is 3 minutes by foot, shops and cafes 3-5 minutes and the historic center 10 minutes - 15 to the dome. Even that close to the train station the room was very quiet and the shutters allowed for complete darkness in the room. We liked the room very much, a nice addition was the TV with lots of movie channels included (Disney,...). When paying the city tax on leaving we even got a coffee from the very nice landlady.

Facilmente raggiungibile dall'autostrada,hotel molto accogliente, pulito e silenzioso.favolosa la colazione bella abbondante.ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.poi per chi come noi viaggia con il cane è molto prezioso.ci ritorneremo

Visited this hotel on occasion of Cibus. Hotel is nicely presented, although is located outside Parma town. Rooms are ok, not too small but neither big. Good bathroom. Restaurant: breakfast ok, good choice of yogurts, juices and English breakfast too. Dinner: good a la carte menu plus salad buffet

Sanvitale Clean and beautiful rooms. Found in a castle courtyard the setting is stunning. Beautifully designed rooms with amazing features, coffee machine and bathroom all very good. Sadly our welcome was non existent and this really affected our stay. We arrived on a Sunday, when a huge market and festival was going on outside the hotel. We had received an email stating the time reception would be open. We planned our day around this and arrived when the reception was due to be open between 3-9pm. Sadly no one was there... Our keys were on the desk to collect, but no idea about where we could park our go for food that evening. It simply felt odd arriving and going to your room without speaking to anyone. We did find free parking but it was 300 metres away, not great with luggage. The booking said a free welcome drink... We didn't get that, but all we needed was a human being to welcome is and give us some guidance with parking and our two night stay a basic of customer service. Staff at breakfast were ok. The first day she was very grumpy and unfriendly. The second morning the lady was more friendly but no offer of a second coffee or if we needed anything else. We don't speak much Italian... But a smile guys a long way in any language. Cleaning was perfect... The rooms are lovely and we cannot fault that. We got room 203 which is directly above the breakfast room. Quiet for most of the day, however breakfast starts at 7am and it's noisy so don't expect to sleep in! Location is 25 mins from Parma and in a quiet town. We enjoyed it, however we wished we had more contact from staff. It feels like they don't want to spend the money on staff and expect guests to look after themselves!

Location a poca distanza da Reggio Emilia e da altri luoghi molto belli da visitare,immersa nella natura con i suoi suoni ,profumi e una bella vista sulla campagna. Tutto ha il sapore dell' ordine, della pulizia e della sobrietà. Camera accogliente, arredata con gusto rispettando lo stile del casale. Il letto comodo e ben rifatto e il bagno delle proporzioni commisurate con tutti i confort. Colazione a mio avviso ottima con giusti prodotti che possono soddisfare tutti i gusti. Ottimo il caffè che non è un fatto scontato.Il personale discreto, disponibile e cortese. Noi ci siamo trovati benissimo e ritorneremo presto. Ottimo check in automatico che consente di arrivare senza ansia

The hotel was beautiful, however we were totally sealed in the room and could not breathe. At 3.30am I called reception at 4pm I wandered down to reception and he couldn't get the switch to work for cool air, I asked for a fan or to change rooms or to get a window open but he said no way he could open a window. It was worrying To say the least wandering about in lifts at that time in the middle of the night however at last it went on but at 6.30am the cool air went off again. One thing's for sure we won't be returning to this hotel as we left it exhausted!! The breakfast was plentiful and very nice.
