The service in Bhutan is actually quite good, but this Le Méridien is very frustrating. When I arrived, no one helped me with my luggage. I went to the front desk last night to reserve a take away breakfast for this morning, but when I went in the morning, they said it was not available and asked me to wait. I couldn't wait even if I had an early flight. 😅 The service is far worse than other hotels in Bhutan.

Amazing roomy corner suite with river views, modern layout of the bathroom and seating area. Friendly staff. Food quality, for breakfast and dinner is average though good for Bhutan. Pool and gym offer mountain and river views. Close to Paro airport and Tigers nest.

The hotel was well-appointed with a décor blending tradition and modernity. The room was clean and came with a fridge, though there were no drinks inside. The shower area could use some minor maintenance, particularly the caulking. While the staff were friendly, there was a lack of consistency in the information provided, as different staff members gave different answers at times (like currency exchange and early breakfast). A special shoutout to Ugyen Dorji at the lounge—he was fantastic, recommending alternatives that perfectly suited our dietary preferences and being wonderfully friendly and thoughtful. Overall, a pleasant stay!

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel while exploring Bhutan. The property boasts stunning views overlooking the river, creating a serene and picturesque setting. Every member of the staff was not only competent but also genuinely helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout my stay. The rooms and beds were impeccably clean and extremely comfortable, offering a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. Breakfast was a delightful surprise, featuring a variety of unique and locally inspired items that made each morning an enjoyable culinary experience. The food and drinks at the bar were equally delicious, showcasing a high standard of quality. I would love to return to Bhutan, and this hotel would undoubtedly be my first choice. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, great service, and a touch of local charm.

We decided to choose this place for our last two days im Bhutan and it was a great idea. The room, the facilities and the indoor pool was great, but something that we expected for a 5 star hotel. But the service was a big surprise. All the staff but specially Sayan (the chef) spoiled us at dinner and breakfast. My wife loves an indian dessdrt called Rasmalai, and he prepared it for us on the last day. He made me enjoy the delicious Indian and Bhutanese cuisines. Thank you Sayan and all the team!

We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing Property, amazing Location, amazing Facilities, amazing Restaurant & amazing and generous Hospitality. Choda, Sushma, Karma and Dehi from the front office team were all very nice and accommodating. Tashi Jamasko and Ponday are the best bar tenders there is…truly exceptional. On the whole, the whole hotel and all the staff were just really great…I appreciate everything and everyone and will definitely be back soon :) Thank you all so very much, Vishal
