Pleasant Street Inn

Great owner/host who made fabulous gourmet breakfasts every morning. Just a wonderful place. Parrsboro is a lovely town. We were there for the film festival.

Parrsboro is near amazing sights on the Bay of Fundy. Our host Heidi was very informative, and set us up with an amazing guide, Anna, with "Tide Rollers and Mudlarkers," who took us on a tour of the sea floor at low tide. Breakfasts were huge--egg dishes with meats and cheese. The restaurants in Parrsboro are very basic (fried seafood and coleslaw), and close at 8. (We were there a bit before high season, though.)

We randomly picked Parrsboro and The Pleasant Street Inn off a Tourism Nova Scotia website so we could see the other side of the Bay of Fundy(Wolfville is a 2.5h drive). We booked thru Heidi’s website, one of the best parts is she offers a Backyard Lobster Boil at time of booking, a whirlwind of a woman named Anna perfectly cooks the Lobsters and serves them with Clarified Butter, fresh Baguette, Lemon and a delicious dessert. Sorry, back to the Inn there are 3 rooms, we stayed in #1 it was very large, in a newly renovated century building, impeccably clean, bar sized refrigerator, cool rain/body massage-shower head, ample sitting area and coffee/water cooler just outside your room. Included in the stay is breakfast “Heidi’s Specialty” is one of the most delicious breakfasts I’ve eaten in a quite while. We travel with a dog, bonus Heidi was more than happy to have all of us, her fenced backyard with multiple sitting areas, deck and hot-tub make for a relaxing with pet stay. Highly recommend staying at The Pleasant Street Inn - Wait did I mention Lobster Boil ? - do it!

Upmarket boutique. Quality and care everywhere: decor, bed, linens. Good looking bathroom with a great shower (but I had to learn how to do a few things). My bedroom was comfortable airy and light. Heidi serves a generous tasty hot breakfast in her most attractive kitchen. I’d prefer to have sat at her long counter with the other guests.she’s a caring and excellent host- booked our dinner, introduced us to gathering places and to walking guide, Anna, who took us less known places and told us a tone. . Between them they made our stay in Parrsboro memorable and a definite highlight. Pleasant Street in is well located - easy to get anywhere and a walk away from art things and shops.

Perfect location for talking in the theatre or shops in Parrsboro. Heidi was super accessible and welcoming. Hot tub/deck was the perfect place to relax in between adventures. Room was lovely, bathroom was fresh & spacious. Breakfast was HUGE and delicious. Would highly recommend.

This is a very well appointed and clean Bed and Breakfast. The house has been beautifully refinished and my room was large and comfortable. There is also lots of room outside to relax on the shared deck and yard. The host is very helpful and friendly and provides a very scrumptious breakfast. She also went beyond to accommodate my special dietary needs. I was there to attend a workshop and this house is very close and easy walking distance. I would highly recommend this place!
