The staff are kind, but one is unkind. Hot water doesn't come out well in the shower, and it's hard to get hot water because there's no coffee pot

The hotel was nice and we felt safe. The room was nice and clean, however they only gave four small pillows for a king size bed, and only two bathroom towels for bathing. There breakfast selection could have been better, as we stayed 5 days and got tired of eating waffles, sausage patties, and fake egg patties. The only other options were toast, bagel, muffins, yogurt, and cereal. I have had better options at Holiday Inn. We didn't get to swim, but the pool looked nice and fitness room looked nice as well. We had no issues with the elevator as others have said and when you walk in the hotel looks nice. The front desk staff was nice as well, and offered us water upon check in. We switched from the airport Best Western to Pasadena due to the weather, and the hotel was not disappointing at all. I would stay here again if needed.

Totally mystified by the high ratings. On arrival various things were not properly set in our kitchenette room. No cutlery for one thing and the sink plugs did not work - this seems to true for many Best Western pluses built to a near-identical specification. Toiletries missing. The rooms have the dimmest lighting of any hotel, the kitchenette area virtually required a torch. The presumed lights under the microwave did not work. Reception was variously ponderous, clueless, and on checkout borderline hostile. I cannot recommend and find the five star reviews, on which I based my reservation choice, completely baffling.

The staff was very nice and the hotel was very well-kept. However, a couple of things made our stay not so pleasant. When we got to our room, our bathroom smelled like sewage and our body wash dispenser was taken off the wall, so we had none. Also, the Guest Directory in our room had the wrong times that breakfast ended, so we would show up just to find them cleaning up.
