The Westin Pasadena

Coming from a hotel ”snob”,saying that this Westin is one of the finest hotels I've had the pleasure of staying in means a great deal. Kudos to the professional and friendly staff - especially Adrionna, Autumn, Erwin, Guille and Marcos. Location perfect and interior and exterior first class.

Hiltons in the United States are really expensive, especially during the exam season. Three nights are 6,500 including tax, which is usually less than 5,000. This Hilton is average, like all hotels in the United States: 1. If you don’t have toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers, you must bring your own 2. The hotel only provides two free bottles of water on the first night. Whether you can get water later depends on your luck. 3. The sound insulation effect is very average, you can hear the cough in the next room. The overall price/performance ratio is low, not as good as the domestic Hilton. Of course, it is also related to the hotel habits in the United States. I really don't understand that there are no slippers.
The Langham Huntington, Pasadena

The room service is generally OK. As long as you call, the speed is OK. However, there were a few times when no one answered the phone. In addition, the hotel is very old and the water flow in the bathroom is average. The environment is good and very stylish.

A naval ship type experience. Smallest hotel room I’ve been in since NYC. Reinforced staying on the right side of the law lest you end up in a place this small. The shower glass was a part of the actual room. We love historic hotels but I’ll pass on this one. The great downtown location you’d expect for a historic hotel, but not even a dresser in the room itself. No room! Nowhere to even put one piece of luggage in the closet! Only plastic cups in the room, no room to put a toothbrush on the bath vanity, no floor length mirror (we were attending an event), and the room lighting was poor. We are only here for two days, and we were claustrophobic the first hour. Even the hallway felt like being on a ship. Truly considered upgrading or changing hotels. Nice ambiance and charm downstairs. Parking situation was decent but expensive (as expected), $29 for self park. I think it might be a nice place for an event, but truly go get a hotel room built for modern size humans. Hotel staff gave little help with taxi service which I found baffling.

A very beautiful big house, it feels more like an airbnb homestay, not like a hotel, but it feels very special. The house is located in the wealthy area on the mountain. It is very luxurious. It is said that this house has a history of nearly 50 years, and the floor is covered. The patina is out. Usually when there are no guests, there will be a lot of sexy internet celebrities to pose for photos. The owner of the grandfather was very nice. He prepared breakfast for us in the morning. He knew that we were Chinese and would help us cook dumplings, watch TV on the cctv channel, recommend tourist routes, etc. He was very very enthusiastic and made us all embarrassed, toilet The two rooms are shared, but there is no one next door on the day we stayed, so it is equivalent to a private toilet. It's really great 👍

One bottle of mineral water for 3 guests booking in the room! Front desk said this is as per State Law that only 1 bottle for 1 room! Room service needs 24 hours notice! Message of daily car park charges was not delivered clearly, we were charged 4 days x USD30 for zero use of overnight parking. Original charges was 7 days, hotel front desk took away 3 days and charged us 4 days, although this is out of goodwill, I still feel that this is badly handled.
