This place is a gem. You wouldn't think so until you enter the room as it will be difficult to upgrade outdoors. But the room has been nicely renovated and formed interesting space retro decorations. I was tile grouting, congested snobbery and this bathroom did a great job. Spacious shower room was well assembled. The place was very valuable!

A small hotel run by Chinese people. It has its own small yard for parking. It is full of cars at night. There is a small swimming pool. The building is not new and the facilities are not new, but the service is attentive. Although the breakfast is Western style, But there is also Chinese porridge, hot coffee and free instant noodles.

The best value for money, especially if you are going to Universal Studios. This is a mom-and-pop shop run by a Japanese aunt in Hong Kong. It has a very large space and a safe environment. There is a supermarket within a 3-minute walk. It takes 18 minutes to drive to Universal Studios and 35 minutes to Hollywood. It is also very clean!

We needed a hotel that was close to the Greek Theater. This was such a convenient location. Lots of great shopping and food were an easy walk. The hotel offers free breakfast which was pretty diverse. There were pastries, eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, and breakfast potatoes. The ease of checking in and out online was great too. The checkout is at 12:00 so we didn’t feel the rush to leave. We would definitely stay again.

Location was great but a few things to keep in mind before you complete your booking:
-Room service requires scheduling in advanced
-the water faucet by the sink has an unreasonable and useless design that doesn’t allow you to splash wash your face comfortably/without hitting your forehead
-the water pressure in all rooms is very low (we have raised our concern and tried to swap room and then we found out they wer pretty much the same); if you have long and thick hair be prepared for 45 mins of rinsing
-valet parking only but parking fee was reasonable comparing to other hotels at same grade; please be generous and prepare tips for folks that are working 24/7 they’re super friendly

It’s very close to Universal Studios Hollywood. Walkable distance, 8 mins walk. There is shuttle bus provided but we prefer walking. The room is spacious and clean. The stuffs are friendly and helpful. Great stay.

AAnonymous UserThe room service is generally OK. As long as you call, the speed is OK. However, there were a few times when no one answered the phone. In addition, the hotel is very old and the water flow in the bathroom is average. The environment is good and very stylish.

GGuest UserI have had my crews stay at Best Westerns from Portland, OR all the way down to El Centro, CA without issue-Until this property. They didn't like myself or my crew and in return, I really didn't like them, their management or owners. I have been a ”Diamond Select” member for the past 3 years. This is supposed to mean something-but not at this property. I don't want to continue bashing this property, but just know it's not for people in construction. I saw it was used for the casual traveler, some people seemed to be long term tenants, and men/women having ”discreet encounters”. The rooms are okay. There are no microwaves in the room. They have a ”common” (no COVID issues there eh?) microwave in the laundry room-which closes at 10PM. The mattress was a little too firm for me personally. They have a great selection of cable channels. Plenty of other amenities-towels, hand towels, Coffee Maker, etc. I can't comment on room service as there isn't any due to COVID. The rooms are clean upon initial entry. They did accommodate us with items we had delivered for my project so I was grateful for that.

GGuest UserStayed here for a night, sort of a layover driving back from Anaheim back to the Bay Area. Decent free breakfast buffet. Coffee was weak though. It was like getting coffee from the gas stations. We also had to pay $10 for parking. The TV inside the rooms were small and dark. I believe this is an item they need to consider replacing. Kids had fun at the pool, clean and surprisingly, the temperature of the water was very nice. The spa was good too. The other thing we liked was the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided in the bathrooms. Conveniently placed in bottles with a pump by the showers. The fixture for the shower though, it was hard to tell which way to turn for hot or cold. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thought this was a very good value.

GGuest UserI spent night in this Motel on August 4th 2022. I’m cargo van driver and just have been driving through to the East Cost. The motel was ok like usual old 2 star motel, but A/C hadn’t been produced enough cold and room was smelling cigarettes in spite of the fact that all motels rooms are smoked-free. But it was late and I decided to stay. After 2 weeks I recognised that deposit didn’t return to my card. I contacted Motel and asked to figure it out. Women on the phone sad that everything is OK and deposit doesn’t go back automatically and I need to call again next morning to ask manager to make a return. I called back in about a week and had reached manager/owner. He already knew my name and was ready to talk to me. He sad that I left room with tons of trash and food “like you spent there 2 weeks not 1 night” and “there was cigarette smell and butts everywhere” and all the towels were used. To say that I was disappointed is not to say anything. I’m 100% smoke free person and I hate anybody smoking even under my windows. I spent in room about 9 hours working on laptop and sleeping between two working days (it’s all you need when drive 10 days from cost to cost). I didn’t have anybody with me (i just don’t know any person there) and I left early morning for loads in LA area. I left key in night window because there was nobody in the office and door was locked. Nobody contacted me about my room or deposit. I asked manager why nobody tried to contact me at the moment when the inspected the room - but he sad they don’t usually contact about deposits. I asked for some proofs cuz they trying to charge me $100 and I want to know what is is for but he sad I need to request deposit back at check out after inspection. I don’t know what I can do in situation like that. He is just lies and trying to steal my deposit. Be aware!

CCHENGThe mattress was very comfortable, and I slept very peacefully. The pillow I set was a double bed room with 4 pillows. It was enough for me. The cabinet capacity was also large. Room, with bathtub, separate shower room, the most important thing is tropical rainforest flowers! !!
The surrounding dining is great because there are many snacks in the central area and the hotel management is also a big brand. There is definitely a guarantee. I will come here next time!
