Nice hotel with nice rooms. Food could be better and tastier. Swimming pool is too shallow and very warm. Sandbags on the beach were not a pretty sight.

As we made our way from Sigiriya to the coast this was our first stop and what a perfect location. Everything you need is here, from a dinner buffet to a great pool and beach club to spend your day. The rooms are spacious and super comfortable with WiFi and cable tv

This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in my life.Such a disappointing beach they have.It is next to a public beach full on people running around near the hotel property.I felt mislead coming here and not what they advertised on there website.Initially was supposed to stay 3 nights but I left the first night.Only plus was the room size and breakfast.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our tour and were a bit concerned by recent comments that we had read. We are pleased to report that we found that the issues had been addressed; there was no scum around the pool and no exposed sandbags on the beach. We had a lovely big room with good a/c and a nice patio leading onto groomed grounds and a nice beach. All of the staff were absolutely lovely, from the room boy to the pool guys and the restaurant staff. The buffet and food offerings were excellent.

Wir waren mit allem rundum zufrieden. Besonders hervorzuheben sind das von Chefkoch Mohamed zubereite abwechslungsreiche sehr leckere Essen und der äußerst aufmerksame Service im Restaurant unter der Leitung von Shakila, die ihre Gäste sehr herzlich empfängt und für einen reibungslosen Ablauf sorgt. An der Aqua Bar, mit perfektem Service, bereitet der sehr freundliche Chef-Barkeeper Madushan tolle wohlschmeckende Drinks zu und wie es sich für einen guten Barkeeper gehört, steht er (und auch seine Kollegen) immer für einen Smalltalk zur Verfügung. Sogar unsere Musikwünsche wurden erfüllt. Die Mitarbeiter vom Roomservice haben unsere Zimmer immer blitzblank sauber gehalten und haben ein besonderes Lob verdient.

This luxury hotel is polluting their sea and they don't care! They have a wonderful beach that is not natural but built with sandy bags made of plastics. The issue is that these pladtics bags are deteriorating and are realasing small pieces of plastics into the water. Considering the big issue that all the seas have on microplastics I think this is a shame! They should remove all the bags and use some sustainable solutions for the beach.

Very large hotel complex. Modern and large rooms with sea views. The spa area is great (very authentic and professional, OK price-wise). The food was OK (large selection, but unfortunately everything was cold). The beach is nice, but since there is a (dead) reef right in front of it with lots of dead stone corals, you can't swim there (you can't walk there without bathing shoes - risk of injury!!!). Best to walk 100 m to the left to the public beach (there are no stone corals there and swimming is possible) or 10 minutes walk to Kalkudah Bay/the opposite bay (there is a dream beach there)
