I recently stayed at this bed and breakfast for a work trip and it was perfect! The peaceful environment was just what I needed to focus and unwind after a busy day. It's situated away from the main street, providing a quiet retreat, yet still easily accessible to everything I needed. The breakfast options were excellent, with a variety of delicious choices to start my day right. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, making my stay even more pleasant. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast for anyone looking for a tranquil and comfortable place to stay, whether for work or leisure. I'll definitely be back!

Like Like Like Like π This hotel is the best I live in Nepal, and the price/performance ratio is really super high. The location is very convenient, a ten-minute walk is one of the largest shopping malls in the area. Attractions are also very close. First of all, the service is superb. As soon as you arrive at the hotel, someone will help you take your luggage upstairs, as well as welcome juice and fruits. There are two restaurants in the hotel, and the restaurant upstairs has a view of the landscape, which is very beautiful. The hotel room is very comfortable and clean and very new, the bath water in the bathroom is very hot. The best thing is that the breakfast is an a la carte breakfast. There are many types. There is an entire menu with a wide variety of drinks, from coffee to freshly squeezed juices, to freshly made chocolates, muffins and cakes. Both American breakfast and local breakfast are available. What's better is that this hotel is very new, very good compared to other Nepal hotels. The manager of the hotel is very enthusiastic and keeps asking how is the hotel every day? How is the breakfast? The hotel can also help to book a taxi, which is very cheap. Just call him when you come back from the attraction, or you can book a taxi. We stayed for a week, and the plane was at 8 o'clock in the evening, and he was very considerate to let us check out late and return at 5 o'clock. This hotel is really worth recommending. If you come to Kathmandu, don't hesitate to book this one.

Only went for food in the rooftop restaurant as itβs my first time in Nepal and the area, but excellent service and delicious food. The views from the roof are beautiful and the staff are friendly and accommodating, they simply cannot do enough for you. I would definitely recommend the establishment! There is no swimming pool or gym, and it is undoubtedly a three-star hotel on Google.

1. Itβs a pity that there is no elevator installed. Go to the 4th floor (actually the 5th floor, the 1st floor of the hotel is not counted as the 1st floor). Remember to tip the concierge 20 to 50 rupees for carrying luggage
2. Took a shower twice, both were cold water... No hot water...
3. Local residents are used to hot weather... The public areas are not air-conditioned... I was sweating while eating breakfast...

In fact, the room is very well organized, the quilt and paper towels are folded neatly, but there are two short hairs when I opened the quilt...
Environment:

We stayed at Hotel Atlantic in December and had a very comfortable stay. The Location is very good because its in a more quiet place but still in Thamel. The Breakfast is also nice and freshly made. We booked a Trek with them and it was amazing. The Rooms are clean and there is hot water. Overall we had a really nice stay at the Hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful experience, great location and professional staff
The Magnificent Hotel is an outstanding value for money. It is in great location, within walking distance of Asan Bazar, Durbar Square and the lively streets in the Thamel district. The hotel is on a safe street with restaurants, grocery store and even security agents. The hotel is clean and in good condition. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is comfortable, relaxing and breezing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. All communication for reservations or special request was perfect. However, what truly made the difference was the professional and caring staff. All were helpful, spoke multiple languages and proactive in providing help. One example is Kritika, who was absolutely exceptional, with a consistent positive attitude. She helped to explain the local riding sharing App inDrive. She helped me with the local cellphone provider Ncell. Help arranged laundry service and other useful information. Also Rajesh, the bar man was helpful to suggest local dishes. More importantly he was kind and interesting to discuss with. Finally, Ganga the manager was absolutely exceptional to ensure all was well organized and inspiring his staff. I had the occasion to speak with him many times and it was very enjoyable. We stayed in a Deluxe Family Suite room with two separate rooms, good air conditioning and shower and comfortable bed. Highly recommended

GGuest UserThe most wonderful hotel! Very attentive staff, wonderful, calm, even peaceful place. From the point of view of visiting for a couple of days, Lalitpur is an ideal location, next to Durbar Square, but not noisy and - importantly - not dusty.
Be careful - this is a heritage hotel - a low ceiling right in the room according to the best traditions of Newar architecture. Delicious food in the restaurant (both breakfast and dinner).

Thank you so much for your hospitality. I travelled to Kathmandu with my colleague on July 2024 and stayed in Sangrila Blue Hotel for 3 nights and 2 days. There rooms are very comfortable and clean. Hotel staff are very polite and attend to your requests promptly. I fell sick one night and they were in my doorstep within minutes. Most importantly we were literally stuck when we were trying to make any payment through our cards. Before travelling for Kathmandu we had enquired in every possible way, but once we tried paying then, none of the debit card/credit card were working. We literally roamed around many ATMs to withdraw case from the Indian Bank which are accepted in Nepal but all ATM gates were locked from outside. Hotel people helped us a lot and have n number of options to pay. Even they kept trying with us and finally they gave us an Indian account of one of their staff whom we make the transaction. I am truly grateful to the hotel staff for their support and genuine understanding. I am sure I am going to stay in the same hotel if I ever visit Kathmandu again. I've been to Nepal and the Kathmandu valley many times over the years and have stayed in countless hotels. This was my first time staying in Patan and at Square hotel. You may have read somewhere that this is a high tech hotel and it is but reassuringly it also has high human touch also. Where to start? Ok let's start at the airport - I arrived early morning, exhausted and happy to see the prominent sign with my name on it when I exited Tribhuvan international arrivals. The driver was polite and got me to the hotel quickly. Even though I arrived at 10.30 in the morning, there was none of that nonsense that I would have to wait sitting in the reception area until a room was ready. You know that old line that many hotels around the world love to peddle when they see you coming in their front door before 4.30 pm. No, this was a proper welcome, a nice refreshing welcome drink and a helpful; staff member took me up to my room. I was there for a week on business and quickly got to know my way around the hotel. The reception level also has a well furnished bar and next to that is the dining room where I had breakfast every morning. There's a lovely selection of Nepali/Indian items as well as some western items. I stuck to the Nepali breakfast - very tasty and filling. Up on the 4th floor is a lovely terrace cum bar/restaurant and I ate there most evenings. Great menu with mix of local, Indian and western dishes. There's lovely views from up here of the surrounding hills and mountains of the Kathmandu valley. The rooms as I mentioned before are a good size and with touch switches for lighting, curtains and taps. The shower is great, powerful and plenty of toiletries. Stand out for me though is the people who work in this hotel. Everyone has been well trained, they are professional, polite and courteous. I sent a lot of time up on the terrace and the staff there were so efficient and nice, I'm missing them all already and I'm only home 2 days! If anyone from the hotel management should read this review, please pass on my thanks to all of your magnificent staff. I'll be back again in a few months time and looking forward to seeing everyone again.

εΌ εΌ The hotel is adjacent to Patanduba Square, and the vicinity is where the famous Nepalese Buddha statues are made. Many artisans have made exquisite Buddha statues in their homes by the alleys leading to the hotel. The hotel is very clean and tidy, especially very quiet, the furnishings are artistic, and most of the guests are European tourists. Through the window, you can see a small playground opposite, and the children are swinging on the swing happily. The hotel has a small elegant garden and a well-equipped dining room where you can make your own cup of Marsala tea or order an affordable meal. The most important thing is that the rooms here have screens, no mosquitoes come in, and you can sleep very securely.
