Golden Sun Hotel Patmos: υπέροχο, πεντακάθαρο, φιλικό, φιλόξενο. Η Ανδριάννα άψογη διευθύντρια, ευγενέστατη και εξυπηρετικότατη. Η ηθοποιός μαγείρισσα Ευαγγελία με την λάμψη της σταρ και την ταπεινότητα ενός πολύ γλυκού ανθρώπου. Το πρωινό πολύ πλούσιο, με πολύ καλά υλικά και σερβιρισμένο στο μπαλκόνι με την καταπληκτική θέα στη θάλασσα. Όλα ήταν υπέροχα, σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα. First of all, let me mention that we had 4 very hot days on the island. But the air conditioner had a very hard time cooling the room and made noise during its operation. The room every time we came back, noon or night, was too hot and had no other opening than the balcony door to make electricity and change the air quickly, so we were forced to leave the door of the room to the corridor open and the door of the corridor to the outside area as well so that there is electricity and after about ten minutes we close them and turn on the air conditioning. The view from the room was very nice, on the bay, but at any time of the day you couldn't sit on the balcony because of the heat. The furniture in the room very old and the mattress not comfortable (at least for me who is quite heavy). The shower very small, fortunately with a fabric curtain that doesn't stick to you like the plastic one. The hotel has a very nice small pool overlooking the bay and shaded in its corners by 2 trees, the only new and the only nice one in the hotel. The ground has a big slope so the hotel is built on levels, but it does not have an elevator (we were told they will have one next summer). From our room to the street where we parked it was 4 floors, with stairs, and another one below the room the pool. Parking in road widenings. The staff was very kind and helpful but few for the size of the hotel, something that was mainly seen at breakfast. Plates were getting empty and you had to ask for them to be refilled, apparently why didn't they have time? The breakfast was full but typical, of average quality and without anything interesting. Also, the extra charge at breakfast for any coffee (espresso, Greek) other than filter makes a bad impression. Overall, despite the friendly staff, it was not a pleasant stay.

I have visited many Greek islands, but Patmos holds a special place in my heart. The island is very spiritual, and we stayed here for 4 days, choosing the Golden Sun Hotel. We did not have high expectations when we arrived, but the hotel's view is amazing, its architecture is colonial, and it is quiet and peaceful. I especially want to thank the hotel manager Andrianna and Evangelia, who provided everything we wanted with an always smile during our service.. They made our vacation wonderful, and if I come again, I would choose the same hotel. The people here are happy, respectful, and very sensible. My spouse and I loved the hotel and, more importantly, we formed a beautiful bond with the hotel manager and all the staff. I look forward to coming here again.

Struttura a dir poco datata che pratica prezzi assurdi per la qualità del servizio. Note positive: gentilezza e cordialità nell’accoglienza. Note negative: camere anni 70, bagno senza doccia degna di tale nome. Decisamente pessimo value for money
