Taj Rishikesh Resort & Spa Uttarakhand

My daughter visited in jan 24 at taj rishikesh .The service provided was truly excellent, with a staff that was both friendly and helpful. The location, situated on the banks of the majestic Ganges, was truly awe-inspiring. The private Ganga Aarti experience was a serene and ethereal event, evoking a sense of peace and divinity. The rooms and the entire property were impeccably clean, leaving a lasting impression of immaculateness. The room service was nothing short of exceptional, delivering prompt and efficient service. The culinary offerings were of a very high standard, with the millet pizza standing out as particularly delicious. I would like to extend a special thanks to Utkarsh for graciously hosting us and providing us with invaluable information throughout our stay.

Everything from welcome to departure was excellent. Service, ambience, food, amenities, scenery. Restaurants served local food, and the whole place was tastefully decorated. Akshay, Jaiprakash and team did an awesome job with the food.

Wonderful resort. Great service, so many servers took the time to attend to us personally, including my elderly parents. The food was wonderful, especially the Pahadi cuisine at Riverside Restaurant. We tried a lot of dishes for the first time and enjoyed them. Would like to recognise Akshay, Ashish and the other heads of FnB who made us feel special.

Loved every aspect of the place. their food, the hospitality, and the location. But best part is, that the beds were firm. I hate soft beds, and this was just right. Perfect support for the back. Every evening, they sent a small surprise - whether it's their home grown face pack, or a new scrub to try out. It was wonderful

We visited the Taj at Rishikesh last week for our anniversary and it was the most wonderful experience. The rooms are extremely cosy and comfortable, the view from the balcony was fantastic and the food was great. In addition to the views and serenity that the hotel offers, they also provide a lot of complimentary and additional paid activities that made us want to stay on the property and not leave the hotel at all! The private Ganga Aarti on their beach is a great touch - so is their welcome and departure ritual. For the breakfast, we were advised to eat the pahadi food prepared by the ladies from the vicinity, ***** with the Tajs very lavish spread and all their customised offerings. We enjoyed the complimentary high tea and the happy hours, and dinner everyday was made very special by their Santoor player - music that will calm your soul! Our housekeeper - Beena, beautifully decorated our room for the anniversary. Every member of the staff that we crossed while roaming around the property greeted us with a huge smile and a lot of warmth. From the F&B team, Akshay, Chandanji, & another young guy in specs (whose name we absolutely didn’t catch) entertained us with so many stories and were truly just fantastic hosts (we spent most of our time by the restaurant) - they gave us the best recommendations for things to do, which beverages to pick from and what food to try. They accommodated every need and really helped make our week very special. Apart from just the beautiful beautiful property, I would definitely go back just for the hospitality. We didn’t catch more names but a big big thank you to all - the F&B team, the housekeeping of the front office team and anybody and everyone else that I’m missing.

From the very beginning of our stay, Ram the Duty Manager oversaw our entire stay with utmost care and ensured that our stay was a wonderful experience. The purpose of our trip to Rishikesh was the recent passing of My Mum and Ram and his experienced team enabled us to fulfil every spiritual wish we hoped to accomplish with temple visits to Neelkanth temple; feeding the cows in the town; going to an orphanage and just a spiritual atmosphere at the Taj. Thank you for an amazing experience!!! Food & beverage manger, Pankaj and team for excellent service. Neelam was great from housekeeping. Great food....chefs were amazing in all restaurants.
