Christopher Creek Lodge

Such a cute rustic place to stay in the Mogollon Rim area. The property is super cute with a playground, fire pits, outdoor seating, and adjacent to the creek. It’s close to lake fishing (Woods Canyon Reservoir and Willow Springs Lake), near some beautiful hiking trails, and walking distance to two great restaurants. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay. The porch right on the creek was perfect. So peaceful. And the weather was beautiful. The space was smaller than the cabin we stayed at last year (the property behind the restaurant that is owned by the same company), but I think the creek side porch made up for it. The employees were quite friendly.

If you enjoy old fashioned resort lodges, combined with up to date amenities, this is for you. Nicely appointed cabins, good WiFi, streaming TV, a patio right on the creek. Everything was just right for kicking back. 2 good restaurants within 1/4 mile of the lodge.

I cannot say enough good things about the service we received! Gavin in the office was so friendly and helpful. He catered to my every request quickly and with a smile. The cabin was more spacious than I anticipated and was perfectly clean and comfortable. I cant wait to go back!

Cabin C6 is right on the creek and it was still flowing and had fish for the kids to try to catch. It was clean, lots of room for sleeping and the king bed was very comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. There aren’t any stores real close so bring what you need. The lobby has a few things for sale but not a lot. It’s really beautiful and scenic there, nice and peaceful. Cool at night and we maybe could have used another light blanket on the downstairs bed, but we had a small window open. The second night we burned a log in the wood stove and we very cozy.

Our 3rd time coming here this weekend and we are very disappointed after this last stay. We had trail bunk A4 and the plumbing got backed up as well as the trail bunk next to us had the same issue. The sewage started coming out of the shower at 6am and we couldn’t get ahold of anyone, we then waited till the front office opened up, we told them about the situation numerous times, they said no plumbers can come out, and no other units were available so we had to stay in our unit that was flooding, we couldn’t use the showers, sinks, or toilet. It was mentioned by Todd that they had the exact same issue last weekend due to feminine products being flushed down the toilet, and he kept blaming us women that this was the exact reason it was happening again, but that was not the case. If it’s a known issue with the plumbing then they shouldn’t take our money for a unit that clearly has been having issues. The customer service about this issue made us not want to go back.

Outstanding stay! We had the cabin with a loft and it had plenty of room for a family of four. Certainly rustic but much better than camping in a tent! Also, we were able to take our two Golden Retrievers and they had a great time as well! The one thing I would recommend is you take a coffee pot as the cabin is only equipped with a Keurig.

I stayed in the pony express room number 3 with friends over the weekend, the management were very welcoming, we enjoyed the sounds of the creek and the BBQ plus the fire pit outside, Ive been coming up here for years, enjoy it every time and cant wait to visit again soon!

My fiancé and I took our kids (ages 2 and 6) for a little weekend getaway. It was our first time and we will def be back. The trail bunk cabin had everything we needed. We played on the property, made s’mores and roasted hot dogs and went to a nearby spot to fish. There was a ton of snow to play in and the cozy fireplace in the cabin kept us nice and warm. We very much enjoyed our stay.
