Zoom Hotel Mulawarman

The hotel is located only about 200 m from Samarinda Central Plaza (mall) so it is easy to find food or to supermarkets. But the facilities of this hotel are very disappointing. This 6 floor hotel has only 1 elevator, so guests have to wait a long enough to get on the elevator. Also, the toilet in the room is tilted facing the wall (only about 15 cm from the wall) - see the attached photos. For the size of a normal person, I can't sit in the toilet because my feet stoop to the wall! I stayed in this hotel for two nights, on the second day, my room key was not able to open the room, so I had to go down again to the lobby to ask my keys to reprogram, and have to wait for the elevator again (long) to be able to get to the room. This place is not recommended!

Breakfast here is very varied, all food and drinks are available and complete. From appetizers, main meals, to desserts. Besides that, it tastes good too. Moreover, the service from the staff is also friendly, especially Kak Utami who always offers help and polite to visitors. Thankyou Kak Utami and Ibis Hotel Samarinda

This hotel has not been working with OYO since September 2019, but its review is only available so I review here yes. This hotel has a bad review, I didn't dare to stay long, so I tried 2 nights 1 Feb 2020 because the reviews everywhere were pretty bad. I stayed in room 8607 (floor 6 room number 7, after 2 nights I extended to 5 nights (check out tgl 21) because the place is quite good and the sheets were replaced for used beds (I chose twins bed and one was not used). For the room, many say the little room, the little ones called twin beds close by (maybe), the bed between 50cm, the distance from the bed to the tv is about 2m more. For the bathroom, there is a shampo and liquid soap one place full (if OYO provides limited), the bathroom room is large. For hot water many say no, this hot water must wait about 1 after that the water must keep hot. The room didn't provide a bottled water (it seems that the whole hotel in Samarinda was like that because the government's juice cuts plastic), and the compensation was a gallon water in the hotel hallway. Breakfast is provided on the 2nd floor, if you do not order a room with breakfast, you can add 70 thousand per person (it is better to buy food outside if you don't buy a room with breakfast). Around the hotel there are many places to eat such as Gudeg, Bunny, Ketobak, Tek, Chicken Peel, Bakso and Soto, Steak & Ice Cream, AyCE, etc. His receptionists are a lot saying sombong, judes, unfriendly. As I see, first, it's not friendly if you don't stay there and just ask for the price - second, when I wanted to check in, the guards 2 ladies in a hat (it's just a characteristic), both the receptionists are very nice and very friendly, For 3 days they take care of the receptionist always greet (even you don't look at the front desk)- third, the receptionist on the fourth day changed, the woman was a little bigger than the previous receptionist, well this receptionist was a different one, really not a hello and less good faces shown (no smile), check out time is also the same as this receptionist, so the last impression is less good. To check in check out is a bit long, but taken positively, they are providing a good room for us. There are pool facilities and relaxing places on the rooftop. Pool water is cleanly maintained.
