Went to the Sunday carvery. I must say the food was amazing 👏. Three meat options, pork cracking 😋 optional All vegetables fresh 😋 and tasty, you can have as much or as little dependant on appetite. Good old fashioned tasty gravy. My dad has a pint of Stella, £4.80 for a premium larger, which we were surprised at the cost. Other pubs over £5.00++ The owner came over to ensure we were happy with the meal, which was a lovely touch.. definitely recommend, you won't be disappointed.. we will ve back..

Couldn't even stay, front house person was in dirty stained clothes rooms old, grotty and bathroom not cleaned unhygenic. We left and found alternative accommodation
Not like ******* had advertised and how other people has rated this accommodation as good is beyond me. Dirty accommodation is not good

Friendly and comfortable!!
It was an overnight stop, wow what a welcoming, friendly place. All the staff were glad to help with a smile. Overall I’d recommend the Bridgehouse to anyone +++.

Peaceful stay
Everyone was so friendly. Food was good and breakfast was plentiful. Maybe a coat of paint here and there wouldn’t go a miss but it was clean and comfortable. Bargain price lovely surroundings I would be happy to stay again

With no Bar or Restaurant I wouldn’t call it a hotel it’s more like a nice house. Breakfast was cooked by a Chef from sister hotel on domestic type appliances at house/Hotel. Breakfast was ok a little limited no mushrooms black pudding or hash browns or beans. On the plus side there was an allocated parking and the rooms were nice! Staff maybe too talkative maybe trying to put the lack of facilities at the back of your mind .
