I went with a group of women for a yoga retreat. There were 14 of us. The setting was absolutely beautiful.The weather was not great but we made the best of it. Unfortunately and sadly, the owner passed away two months ago and his wife and father were left to run everything. They are trying their hardest but it will take time. My heart is devastated for them. The only complaint I have is that the cabanas are not cleaned up to my standards. The towels need to be bleached and the two young guys who cleaned did not know how to clean well. They would just pour dawn on the floor and mop. The shower was very slimy. Other than that it was a wonderful place

Oh the weather between the mountains and nature was the best. A super comfortable cabana, no ac needed. Very very safe. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very good with breakfasts and dinners. Live music with Pacho was lovely.

The area of Guatape is currently experiencing a drought (“sequia”) which is no fault to the hotels and hoprfully this is temporary and gets sorted soon!
The property is one of a kind and a great experience. It could easily fit 6 people and the hot tub was not a cheap one and really nice! Was so peaceful i almost fell asleep in it. The staff were also awesome and made me very welcome. The check in was very relaxed.
However, there were definitely things that the property could do to fix my experience. The doors were just completely broken, where the handles on both doors came off the doors. Plus the free breakfast was limited to only a small and basic one (not like advertised). Smallest amount of cheese and fruit I have had during my trip in Colombia.
I was also woken up by loud banging and the cockerels going off at 5am.
It was these things that really prevented this from being a luxury stay and hopefully the hotel can sort these out.

I stay one night and 2 days i regret not staying longer it was paradise. I reconnected with nature, the cabins were amazing with their private jacuzzi. The hotel looks like one in Bali. The employees were super friendly. The beds extremely comfortable the view spectacular. 15 minutes away from the Guatape town but easy access.
The food was delicious. I would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend IBUKU HOTEL

My boyfriend and I traveled to Colombia to celebrate my birthday, and by divine action we arrived at this magical and SPECTACULAR place. Since we arrived in Medellín we had the pick up service at the airport, they took us directly to the cabin which has an atmosphere of romanticism and connection with incredible nature, the beauty of the cabins and the views left us breathless (it is a lot more beautiful live than in photos). The second floor is ideal for reading and meditating. It has an amazing outdoor jacuzzi with a stunning view. All the food on the menu is DELICIOUS, we had a jet ski tour and saw a large part of the dam, as well as a fabulous massage service, the kayaks, etc. The cherry on the cake was the decoration of the cabin for my birthday, the attention to every detail (they made me cry with emotion). But without a doubt the best of all was the service from Poly and Daniel, they are super attentive, friendly, efficient, simply WONDERFUL!! We were infinitely grateful for how they made us feel during our stay. Definitely one of the best experiences of my life!

The place is super nice, unfortunately we had a little confusion in the room but in the end they were able to accommodate us in one.
