A superb family atmosphere with excellent fish. The old diving and seafaring instruments add character to the friendly restaurant. Service is helpful and everything is beautifully cooked and very fresh. A great place for an evening meal. We go back time and again.

The history of the building, the modernised bedroom and bathroom, the atmosphere in the pub and dining areas all made this a memorable and comfortable visit.
Very conveniently positioned for train station and Scillonian. Quite a bit of traffic on road below, but it didn’t disturb us very much.

We came for Sunday Lunch 22/09, left it very last minute to book but they fitted us In with no problems. We had a lovely big table in a book which was perfect for us and our dog. The staff were unfailingly cheerful and friendly, our order was taken quickly (but we were not made to feel rushed at all). Daughter appreciated the free fast WiFi(!!) Beautiful old fashioned pub with quirky, interesting details and a lovely cosy atmosphere without being cramped! We had a roast each, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection with a big bowl of vegetables served with each. My daughter had kids fish and chips which was a substantial size and in her words “the best ever”. Would 100% recommend The Dolphin and will certainly be back!
