Hotels near Church of Saint Nicholas, Perast

Four adults (age range 22 to 60 years) spent a relaxing and restful week at the lovely Heritage Grand Hotel in Perast in September. The hotel is made up of a series of very well maintained attractive stone buildings that surround a courtyard. The hotel has great views overlooking the sea with Risan bay to the west and the gulf of Kotor to the east. Across the quiet and mostly pedestrianised road in front of the hotel is the hotel's outdoor (non heated) pool and seating area. There are also steps that provide access to the designated swimming area in the sea. The whole place was kept spotlessly clean and we saw the staff cleaning the courtyard and communal areas every morning when we set off for a run (along the footpath from Perast to Risan). We had an excellent room with walk-in wardrobe, large bath/shower room and very comfortable bed. The room was cleaned every day and towels replaced twice a day. Breakfast (plenty of choice of fresh fruit, pastries, cold meat, bread, cheese as well as cooked eggs) was served outside on the balcony, which had great views over to the two small islands of Our Lady of the Rocks and St George. The staff at breakfast were excellent and worked very hard to serve the guests. In fact, all the hotel's staff were great and very helpful. We used the very small gym and the excellent indoor pool (plus sauna and steam room). While we were staying in Perast the hotel hosted a wedding in the courtyard which included live music. The hotel notified guests about the wedding and the music stopped promptly at midnight. Perast is a very attractive small village with several hotels, restaurants and churches. It is set below the main road that runs aound the coast and the narrow street through the centre of Perast is mainly free from traffic, which means that there is little road noise. Rising above the village are tree covered hills. There is a regular bus from the edge of the village to the nearby town of Kotor (1.5 euros per person each way) which takes 30 minutes. Thank you to all the staff at Heritage Grand for making our stay so enjoyable.

Lovely small hotel with good breakfasts, small but pleasant spa. Stayed for the 2nd time. Its own beach is perhaps not that good and is right next to the road.

was promised mountainous views, instead got a view of the car park and some trees. hot tub is not at all private and can be seen from every angle and is filled with grime. nothing within walking distance of the hotel. kids screaming everywhere. breakfast is rubbish. overpriced stay. staff is nice. ‘private’ beach is not at all private and is filled with screaming kids as well as people who aren’t staying at the hotel. terrace is filthy, returned from a day out to find shattered glass all over our floor. room service delivery fee is 20 euros ON TOP of price of food. advertised as child free adult only hotel but is not at all true, sat at breakfast and on ‘private’ beach with screaming kids everywhere. breakfast buffet is extremely underwhelming and not very good at all. don’t recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay. The natural light that wakes up every morning and reflects the sun on the houses has a warming effect on your heart on cold winter days. The rooms are comfortable, especially shampoo and cream smell very good. Especially the employees are friendly and interested. Many thanks to Nik, Marina and Vladan! A great boutique hotel in the heart of Kotor old town. The staff were amazing. My room (24) was probablythe best inthe hotel, sweet juliette balcony overlooking the narrow street, great comfortable double bed and good a/c and wifi. A little dated in decor and furnishings could do with upgrading The bathrom was rather small but plenty of hot water with good shower pressure, towels were small, but bathrobes provided. Essential as venturing onto the baconuy means your in everyones holiday photo The room is noisy, expected for the location, church bells all night and partuygoers until about 4am. But close the shutters, and the doors and wear earplugs. Breakfast was very basic, standard selection of couple of sliced meats, cheeses and pastries. The bread was very good (try the seeded one), coffee was average, tea selection was mainly herbal varieties and juuice wss not fresh

We had so much fun until we checked out! We had some miss understanding between us and the agency for rent cars, we rent a a car to pick up us to the airport at 1:30 pm on Thursday then we changed the plan and we called the reception and inform them, they didn’t even inform us to call the agency and told them about the new plan then when we come to make the check out Ur employee (Tea vranesevic) tell us to pay half of the charge because we didn’t inform the agency! How do know that when the staff in reception didn’t told us about this thing! She charged us 70€ its ok for us even if its not our mistake but the problem is this employee TEA didn’t respect us at all she is so mean and she’s not even professional for this job, I’m planning to come back next summer with my family but now after what happens with her I don’t think I will come back. We respect everyone and they should respect us back. I’m really upset and sad
