I was hesitant about making this review but I believe people need to know about my experience. About 4 months ago was my first time in Lima and first time trusting Lima Courtyard for my travel nurse lodging experience. Throughout my time at Lima Courtyard (3 month total), I believe I can honestly have a review that is honest, consistent and accurate with Lima Courtyard staffing and handling. 1. FRONT DOOR STAFFING The staff at the front are extremely nice, and helpful more times than none, I had a concern they were working to fix it. Only bad experience with the front staff is when I called down stairs for extra towels and blankets the lady down stairs that is African American, couldn’t take the time to bring it up to my room. Last, bad experience was when I thought I was in danger with one my rooms and I called downstairs to let one of the late night managers know that I feel like i’m in danger and they a VERY NONCHALANT / unbelieving attitude about my concerns for my room to be switched. 2. THE BISTRO The food was okay, wouldn’t go back to eat there and spend the money. I asked for a caramel latte and it wasn’t fix correctly. Almost like they didn’t know how. The lady was nice enough to remake it but it still wasn’t up to par. (it was claimed to be Starbucks coffee) 3. THE ROOMS When walking up to my room the hallways always had a weird smell to it like smoke/ uncleanliness. When you walk into the room the room was almost cleaned, like someone started than gave up. The spacing was nice and convenient. I was able to switch rooms easily if i had concerns. Ironically, the last night i was in my room. I was experiencing an intense itchiness all throughout the night and thought they were mosquito bites. The following day I woke up with these bites down below and because i am a nurse I know the difference between bed bugs and mosquito bites. THEY HAVE BED BUGS. I quickly called to tell them my experience and they gas lit me and said they weren’t. I requested a refund and they denied me. Which is crazy because I am a Gold Elite. 4. HOUSEKEEPING Does not do there job . I stayed there for multiple days in a row up to 7 and they came to change out my sheets and clean my room 0x!!!!!! I had to call and request someone to clean my room and they still didn’t clean it up 100% just a damn shame. I ALWAYS REQUEST Housekeeping and always request extra towels before my stay and never delivered not one time. 5. THE LOBBY the lobby looks beautiful from a far but when you start walking and seeing it up close it gets nasty. The elevator looks like it’s never cleaned. you don’t EVER smell cleaning products or febreeze or anything that smells good like it’s finished being cleaned. 6. THE LINEN It is not clean enough. As i said before it’s always partially cleaned. Every other hotel that i went to you NEED TO BE ABLE TO SMELL the detergent on the towels. Make people feel like they are freshly cleaned. Just a shame. I wouldn’t come back here tbh. especially for
