Lovely castle hotel. Even in winter! This beautiful castle has amazing views, beautiful outdoor spaces, incredible food, unique rooms, and a warm and welcoming staff. Take some time to wander the hallways, public rooms, and nooks and crannies so you can admire all the thought that was put into the restoration of this castle. We had chilly weather while we were there, but we were never cold inside the hotel. Our room was warm, plus the staff was happy to build roaring fires in the bar and sitting room for us. The outdoor areas are gorgeous, and it would be a treat to visit in the warmer months too.

The AC wasn’t working when we entered the room and it has been repaired only the day after so we spent the first night in a super hot room. The day after the elevator broke. The breakfast was chaos.. the personnel was very kind but really bad organised. The rooms are not very clean and the fridge in our room wasn’t working either. Very poor stay for a 4 star hotel, unfortunately…

Touched and fled at Umbria Jazz:A very well-kept hotel, very small single room but clean and comfortable, abundant breakfast. Located in the municipality of Ponte San Giovanni, 8 minutes by car from the center of Perugia. I didn't get the pool to try, I think I was satisfied.
Ps:For Umbria Jazz's week, it would be useful to provide a shipping service even for payment (have a shipping service in the parking). Other hotels already do it and would just have 4/5 races per day to give a top service.

If I could give 4.5 I would as there was so much I really liked about this hotel. We came a group of 16 of us and they were very accommodating to the group. The location is ideal a stone throw from all the sites in Perugia and down a lovely side street. The little secret garden where you can have drinks and food is lovely. The rooms were fun as different with interiors and ours the suite had a great view from the bathroom window all over Perugia. A few little things that did not quite get the 5 - I asked for extra toilet roll when I arrived and i had to re ask twice. We were a family of 4 yet only 2 towels were provided. It was hot in the room and that was because they control the air conditioning so you have to ask them to switch it on would have been useful to know that in advance. The service for drinks in the bar was slow and the breakfast I thought could have a few more savoury items. However, all the staff were very lovely and I highly rated the hotel and everyone in our group enjoyed it. If I was staying in Perugia again I would stay here.

I stayed for Umbria jazz and was amazing all the staff..the room...faboulus breakfast...so clean so quiet!! There a plus ..the bus that tales you for free to Santa Giuliana Arena for concerts and back every hour from 5 p.m. and back every hour too..in the same plaza you take the elevator for center so this bus is a great great thing!! So nice!!!

We spent 12 days in Umbria and used Perugia as our home base. This lovely hotel is about 10 minutes from the center of Perugia. You must have a rental car to stay here as the bus rarely comes by and it is not within walking distance of Perugia center. We had a car so no issues for us, There is excellent on site free parking. The hotel is wonderful. Big thanks to the fabulous Jessica and Aymen at the front desk! They helped us every day and made dinner reservations for us several times. They were always warm, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and lovely. The shower is small, but typical for Europe. The buffet breakfast included in the room rate is phenomenal. There is nothing they have not thought of to serve!! The staff at breakfast are also absolutely lovely. We had a wonderful time at this hotel!! Highly recommend.

GGuest UserB&b non facile da raggiungere perché nellultimo tratto semi sterrato ma grazie alle indicazioni dei gentilissimi proprietari raggiunto senza problemi. Camera piccolina per tre ma confortevole molto pulita con pulizia quotidiana , bel bagno ampio e comodo, bel balcone con lettino, peccato non averlo sfruttato di più, eravamo sempre in giro. Colazione semplice ma completa servita nella veranda e bel giardino della famiglia. Nessuna difficoltà di parcheggio. Proprietari gentili e disponibili che ci hanno inviato un sacco di suggerimenti sulle visite da fare e sui ristoranti. Veramente consigliabile

BBi1050A very attractive hotel, verdant gardens and the warmest of welcomes from fabulous reception staff. We stayed in a junior suite which was stunning: spotlessly clean, quiet, top floor, massive bed and excellent bedding, air conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities and complimentary soft drinks. Swimming pool was large, clean and cold! No cushions on the chaise longues and rarely saw staff outside. First day was delightfully quiet in the garden with plentiful bird singing however the next day the birds were drowned out by the sound of building works next door, with constantly beeping reversing vehicles which on our second day started at 0700. The next day it started at 0730 which was an improvement and meant we could have a lie in without being woken up. Apparently the work is for the hotel’s event side of things (as well as roadworks) and there were various events being held at the hotel but nothing intrusive because the grounds are so big and most people attending the events didn’t venture into the main hotel and swimming pool area. The restaurant was fine - a little too much veal for my liking and the mixed vegetables with the main courses consisted of potatoes so not enough green veg for us. The restaurant staff were pleasant and efficient, especially the Russian waitress. The restaurant manager was a little abrupt but worked hard. The spa treatment was excellent and again, delightful staff. Surrounding area was a typical working small town with a small supermarket, couple of pleasant bars, church, school etc. Train service is excellent and cheap but you’ll need a taxi to get to the nearest train station and taxis are quite expensive. Best bet is probably to hire a car.

GGuest UserIn generale la struttura è un buon tre stelle. È a tema cioccolato, per cui nella Hall c'è uno store dedicato.
Le camere hanno uno stile meno moderno, ma sono molto pulite. La mia camera tra l'altro aveva il parquet.
Al 5o piano, oltre al ristorante, c'è una piscina e un solarium con lettini ed ombrelloni a disposizione.
Ottima la colazione...Tanta varietà di dolci e buona anche la parte salata.
Ottima anche l'organizzazione. Causa covid il buffet non è libero ma ti servono loro e, nonostante l'albergo fosse veramente pieno, tutto scorreva senza intoppi.
Lo staff tutto molto cortese, ma un ringraziamento particolare va alla ragazza bionda che serviva ai tavoli e che credo gestisse tutta la sala... Tanta professionalità e gentilezza.
La location non è super centrale ma di fronte all'hotel c'è una fermata degli autobus, e con la macchina sono 5 minuti per raggiungere il centro..
A piedi non credo sia impossibile ma non ho provato, anche perché Perugia è una città che si sviluppa in altezza. Il parcheggio non è custodito, ma ci sono dei posti auto a disposizione degli ospiti. La zona è un po' infelice perché nei dintorni non c'è nulla, nemmeno per fare una passeggiata la sera.

Il B&B sta in posizione molto comoda, sia per visitare il centro storico di Perugia (anche con il panoramico mini metro), sia per visitare le altre belle città umbre, essendo vicino alla superstrada. L'appartamento è comodo, con arredi di qualità, e con tutte le dotazioni necessarie. I gestori sono molto gentili. Il parcheggio auto è all'interno della struttura. Il B&B è il classico punto fermo di chi si muove! TOP!

The morning afterwards, I arrived at breakfast at 10 and 4 minutes, so exactly after 4 minutes the time of breakfast was closed. Now, considering that there was a change in the legal time and that, in theory, we would all have sleeped a hour less, considering that we are in hotels not in prison and we expect to be treated gentlely, It was very unpleasant to see that breakfast was closed, the food was all over, but above all to hear the room manager almost “should scream” because it was late and had to come earlier. “Now you eat what is because I've served 100 people before you...no more at this time,” I quote. I recensed the problem at the reception but it had no kind of check-out (not that it was helpful to cover the problem, but it would be kind from the management).

GGuest UserWe made a short trip in steps. We stayed in this hotel because it is located at the doors of Perugia, with pool. The room is very comfortable and clean. The pool with beds and paraplus is located in the middle of the hotel park. Breakfast is rich, varied. Direction and staff are the added value to the structure, a professionalism which is unfortunately rare.
