The shutter in the bedroom is broken so it is not possible to make it dark. No breakfast included while the hotel I took in the same city and at the same price the week before was better located and more comfortable at all levels offered one.

Strategic location and very near to train station. Room is spacious and comfortable. Bathroom is the biggest i ever stayed during my trip in Italy. Sofa bed is also available in the room for additional traveler. Good recommendation if you plan to stay at Pescara.

Totally hate the staying here, it ruined my hollyday even from the begining. So: I made a reservation from Romania for 2 persons : me and my daughter and they asked for a 2night deposit (even if they advertise as not necessary). Anyway, I paid for the deposit and when I got at the property, I was told I need to pay for the whole staying in advance…weird but I agreed with that. I was assured that my 246 euros (the initial deposit) would be returned in one day or two. 5 days later ane I still don’t have my money back. The toilet broke while I was there asked for it to be repairted, the shower was horrible and the walls dirty. What really bothers is the attitude from the reception which is totally unfriendly…I could say hostile. This is not what I paid for and never will ome back here ciiihhh 😥😥😥 What is really good is the cleaning personnel: very friendly, impeccable work: everyday cleaning is perfect even though I didn ask for some of it it was realized as it should be. 🙏🏻 Breakfast was poor: I had fresh vegetables in one single occasion and in some other occasions I had the feeling it was the dinner from the previous day…not happy at all

Felisia and her husband are lovely people and seem to do anything to help you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The room was a good size and clean. We had to come back early and I was told I needed to physically print my boarding passes instead of being able to use them on my phone, I messaged felisia to ask if she could print them for me and she did which was very kind of her. If I messaged her about anything she gave a very quick reply and tried her very best to help. The private bathroom was directly opposite the room and was spacious and clean.

We stayed a week here. Accessibility wise, it is only a short walk to the beach and restaurants BUT it is down and then up a very steep hill. Unless you like fish, most of the nearby restaurants will not suit you. Would recommend having a car due to these facts. There is a courtesy mini bus service to a beach which was at a cost of €25 euros per day inc umbrella, chairs etc. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice. The food was very good but is a limited menu. Portion size on the small size. We ate breakfast most mornings which at €5 is good value for money . Varied buffet breakfast with lovely local bread and cakes, fruit yoghurt etc, cold meat and cheeses and scrambled eggs. We booked 6 months in advance and were disappointed with the room allocated to us. We had booked a superior room and queried on the first night if that was what we were in. We were assured we were……but….. on further conversation the next day with very helpful check in desk staff, it became clear we were in one half of a family room. There was not much difference in amenity except the superior room was approx 8-10 m2 bigger…..so a huge difference. We were subsequently moved on night 3 of 7 so this aspect was disappointing and the photos on the website of various rooms are very misleading. We felt slightly cheated over this. There is also an issue with noise from other rooms which is audible for sure but did not cause us any significant issue. In terms of the rooms and public areas, the gardens and pool areas are very pleasant to spend time in. The restaurants for breakfast and dinner are ok too. The rooms and corridors are tired and do need refreshing in our view, especially the bathrooms which are showing signs of age with black mould in a lot of the grouting. Lastly, the staff throughout the hotel were outstanding in every respect. The service was exceptional…… friendly, informative, professional and efficient. 10/10. Had this not been the case we would have reviewed it at 3/5.

We booked this hotel for 9 nights, from August 18, 2023 to August 27, 2023. In the first night an extremely noisy event (which we understood from the Reception when we complained is a DAILY event between 20:00-24:00) from the nearby hotel. No one from the hotel warned us about this. Also, this was not mentioned in the description of the hotel on the website. When we talked about this at the reception, they did not offer any solution. They knew about this problem. They said that they will try to give us another room in a few days, but an worse room that the one we paid for. We checked out the next day. The other negative aspects which are misleading in the description are: Wifi is very poor, room is too small for queen size bed (the balcony door hit the bed, bedside table furniture missing on the balcony side of the bed, balcony without privacy separators, fish smell on staircase at the day of our arrival very scarce breakfast (the day at our checkout and departure). During the breakfast, waiting in line for somebody to slice cheese and ham, waiting in line for somebody to prepare eggs. (Nobody there for the 20 minutes we took breakfast). It seems that Sea Lion Hotel retained the Covid 19 restrictions which benefit their side and limit tourists services, fitness and Spa are out of work, but they marketed it as they offer these sevices. This hotel is a 3 hotel at best, not as it is listed, as a 4 hotel with a rate of 190 euro/night!!! Of course, they don't want to reimburse the money. First time I was fishing, though for pco but I had a chance to appreciate this structure. Very available staff, beautiful room with very large shower. Excellent well-treated breakfast with a special applause to the lady that served us. Good
