Arrived at 1 in the morning after our late arrival flight. We took the number 1 bus which stops right outside the hotel (just a little bit far for us to walk with our cases as the roads are all churned up with works for the new tramline) Having said in the booking that we’d be checking in late, we received clear, concise instructions as to how to check in ‘automatically’. All very easy and we were given a room near the entrance/check in booth (a thoughtful touch for weary travellers arriving very late). The room is compact but comfortable and very clean, good power & plenty of hot water in the shower - and the kettle, tea and coffee were appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and to recommend to friends.

Bien placé à la sortie de Bordeaux, c'est un hôtel propre, literie très correct et chambres bien insonorisées, l'accueil est courtois et pro, petit déjeuné assez riche, mais les viennoiseries sont trop peu cuites à mon goût. Il y a un parking sécurisé et gratuit pour les résidents de l'hôtel et des restaurants accessibles à pied en 1 min !

We stayed here for 3 nights as a base to visit Bordeaux. From the outside the hotel does not look like much and google maps took us through a questionable part of town to get here. Less central than the centre would imply this hotel is about 15-minute walk from the main part of Bordeaux however it is very close to the tram and a shopping centre/mall. The room was comfortable and a typical size room for novotel. The hotel internally looks recently renovated and have a reusable water bottle system in place however its only 1 per room and there was 2 of us.

Value for money place to stay especially if you are using Bordeaux as a stepping off point to go further south as just by the main station. Room compact and functional but very clean. Shower good and instant hot water. Bed a bit hard for my liking but my wife slept like a log and loved it. Only issue when we were there was only 1 lift working and if on a higher floor there was quite a wait to get up and down . Would recommend

Fantastic hotel within a 10 minute walk from Gare de St Jean rail station. Quiet location right on the tram line for easy access into the city centre. Rooms fresh with everything you need. It appears the hotel has had a recent make over as carpets and fittings all seem new. Air conditioning, opening window, fridge, electric kettle, safe, seperate bathroom to toilet. Beds very comfortable as were pillows. Nice hot shower and shower easy to access. Buffet breakfast excellent as is the restaurant. Foyer has plenty of comfortable seating while waiting. Staff were welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. Most staff spoke good English which was nice when we do not have any French. We spent three nights here and can highly recommend the Novotel.

This hostel was probably the best for its price I’ve ever been in. Very helping and friendly stuff, I found exceptional good sleep due to your good privacy in bed with curtains. If you want to visit the beautiful Bordeaux and don’t wanna spend a ton of money for sleeping this hostel is perfect for you!

Arrivés à 2h du matin sans réservation, nous avons été très bien accueilli par le réceptionniste qui était très agréable. Il a proposé le lit bébé gratuitement. Le temps d’aller garer la voiture (sur le parking gratuit et sécurisé au top) le lit bébé était déjà dans la chambre. La réceptionniste du lendemain au petit déjeuner était également très agréable. L’extérieur de l’hôtel est jolie. La chambre était propre et en très bon état. Aucun point négatif. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and is very comfortable. Very quickly we decante, an unsustainable smell in the room(picking the eyes and throat), a technician comes to see without solution, We change room. Then noisy room, smaller, more coffee, more overclass... extra bed at €15 with impossibility to sleep in (bed bars) forced to put the matlas on the ground... No information about the room its spa and fitness that you will discover The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.

Lovely stay in this hotel and very friendly staff. The only thing is that the taxi service they booked for us Morillon taxi. Is a total rip off charging 20 euros to go 2kms and he actually wanted 25 euros. We got a taxi from the airport to this hotel costings 30 euros which is around 12 kms. May be he should go and speak to the taxi drivers at the airport and see how they make a living.

GGuest UserJe réserve avec 3 mois d'avance et depuis plus d'un an cet hôtel pour raisons médicales. J'y passe une nuit toute les 3 semaines. Les gérantes précédentes, le personnel, ont toujours été très attentionnés, les chambres sont petites mais propres et c'est très correct pour le tarif proposé. Depuis que M.... a été remplacée par une nouvelle directrice, celle ci dirige maintenant cet hôtel avec une main de fer, une réelle indifférence et un mépris vis à vis des clients, la convivialité qui m'avait fait choisir cet hôtel disparaît. Avant qu'elle prenne la direction j'avais, en réservant 3 mois à l'avance, la même chambre, maintenant elle se fiche pas mal de cette demande, qui me paraissait raisonnable et qui faisait partie de la qualité de service de cet établissement. Je regretterai le personnel qui, je suppose, doit lui aussi subir ses caprices mais je n'y retournerai plus.

GGuest UserIt's a budget hotel so keep your expectations in check...however, I found it excellent value for money, especially considering there were three of us...fast free wifi, ample parking too...and in the neighborhood, plenty of food options!
