Best Pet Friendly Hotels in Baotou

My three days at Xilamuren Star Campsite were honestly one of the highlights of my trip. Jiaohongjun, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I gor into the car with him. He also took the time to show me around the grasslands and answer all my questions along the way. The yurt was clean, very comfortable and in prestine condition. I really enjoyed my stay, the time we spend together and your hospitality. I would happily come back again!

The hotel is located deep in the grassland, with an endless expanse of grassland right in front of you. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and each has a private bathroom, which is very convenient. The owners, a husband and wife, are very welcoming. I suggest that friends who come here bring warm clothes. Highly recommended, this place is great!

It is one of the few unconditional pet-friendly hotels in Baotou. I like it and hope to have this business all the time. The room is a suite, very bright, each room has air conditioning and TV, so it is very good not to disturb each other. There is an exclusive parking lot in the backyard, and there are also staff on duty, very safe. The hotel is equipped with a laundry room for guests to wash and dry. Opposite is the People's Park, exercise and walking dogs are good choices. The staff is very hospitable, take the initiative to say hello, and the security guard is also very talkative. There are many restaurants around, and the clerk recommended our Jiuqu Hotel, which is really delicious. I recommend everyone, especially people who bring pets to travel to check in the hotel.

This hotel really surprised me. I thought that I wouldn’t have a special experience in a hotel with such a location. But when I took the elevator to the third floor, I found that the sanitary environment was very good and the decoration looked good. It is very technological. On the day it was more modern, I booked a double room. When I arrived, I was told that the double room was no longer available. Then I upgraded it for free. The bathtub room may be a bit larger. After entering the room, I found that no matter the lighting, The design, environment and facilities are all very good, and the price/performance ratio is very high. Everything is intelligent, and Xiaodu can be operated by voice, which makes me very satisfied. However, the only thing is that the sound insulation is not particularly good, but that's it. For this price, friends who can tolerate it can make a trade-off. Anyway, I personally think that the price/performance ratio is very high. This hotel is still very good. The most important thing is that it is really close to the airport, less than a minute away. At night You can get there in maybe six or seven minutes. There aren't many airports in Baotou, so it's enough to go there an hour early. It only takes half an hour to get there slowly. It's very good.

A nice hotel! A simple spread of cakes and biscuits provided for teatime, and a bowl of noodles for supper👏👏👏👏Was upgraded to a bigger room when we checked in! Everything was good except water seeps through the glass door when taking a bath thus making the outside area wet! Floor mat is also not provided!

I brought my family to Xilamuren Grassland this time and we stayed at the Saibei Inn. The inn is right on the grassland, so stepping out, you're greeted by endless plains. The view is incredibly open and the air is fresh. In the mornings and evenings, you can enjoy a cool breeze, which is really refreshing. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding tidy, and all the basic amenities were provided, making for a comfortable stay. Both the owner and staff were very warm and genuine, always willing to help when needed. It's also very convenient for sightseeing around; horseback riding and other grassland activities are all nearby. You can even enjoy the grassland nightscape in the evening. We had a great experience with both the food and accommodation here. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the grasslands.

I booked the room as shown in the picture. It has an elevator, complete facilities, and sanitation is OK, but the service is average. I thought there were not enough slippers and asked if I could get an extra pair, but was refused.

The boss is very enthusiastic. Now the temperature difference in the grassland is very big. It is very cold at night. There are electric blankets in the yurt. The quilt is also very thick. It is better to have hot water to wash. It is convenient for the boss to pick it up. I will come to the grassland in the future. Come to this place, in short, the experience is great

Here's the updated review with that additional context: Full Version We had a wonderful stay, largely thanks to one of the owners who went out of their way to organize activities for us and made our experience truly memorable. The dinner and show were fantastic—featuring original-style Mongolian traditional dance and singing that felt authentic and captivating. Both lunch and dinner were excellent, and we were especially impressed by the Lamb Bao served at breakfast. Overall, the service and warmth from the people were genuinely good. That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile. Balanced Short Version (Google/TripAdvisor): Great experience thanks to one of the owners, who personally organized activities for us. I really enjoyed my stay here!! The yurt was spacious, the design was a bit old-fashioned and basic but everything was functional. The activities were explained together with their price. I just chose the dinner and it was great. Samples of traditional meals, dances and the unique throat singing,and one could even wear the traditional clothes. Very touristy but fun!The other resorts are quite nearby tho so it wasnt as deserted as I was expecting but still gives one an idea of the grassland atmosphere. The staff was amazing! They took extraordinary care of me. They picked me up on the bus stop even without me requesting it and the next day drove me to the nearest town when the roads got flooded and the buses wouldn't come.They did it for free and my entire stay were really friendly and trying to make me feel welcome 😊
