Stayed here to visit family in Peterborough the location works for me and the staff are lovely. The rooms are basic and need updating but always clean. Only negative is breakfast can be either very good or very disappointing depending on the day.

Ah, Premier Inn Peterborough North – a place where my hopes for a functioning bathroom go to die. The age-old problem struck yet again: the shower’s water pressure was a pitiful whisper, barely enough to get wet, let alone feel refreshed. The bath taps offered a reasonable flow, but why do they insist on believing this will translate to the shower? It’s like assuming a watering can will work just as well when tipped through a sieve. And, of course, the shower head was fixed in place. Without a detachable option, I ended up performing a slow-motion version of shower yoga, contorting into various shapes just to get clean. What should have been a brisk 5-minute wash turned into an epic saga, complete with a soundtrack of my muttered frustration. But wait, there’s more! The toilet clearly joined forces with the shower in a rebellion against basic functionality. It flushed with the enthusiasm of a bored sloth and took an eternity to refill the cistern, making the simplest task feel like an exercise in patience and bladder control. In summary, Premier Inn Peterborough North delivered a disappointingly expected stay: showers that trickle, toilets that dawdle, and a bathroom experience that feels like an elaborate endurance test. At least they’re consistent.

nice hotel set back from the main road so not noisey good parking on site, breakfast was in the what used to be a pub on site again which makes a nice change with enough space between the tables for just chatting with no loud music to make you shout. Natalie was great on reception and in the bar area as she rushing from here to there.

The worse Premier Inn I've ever stayed in. This used to be a good hotel, but not anymore. It was grotty, dirty, full of workmen, the rooms smelly and over priced. The staff couldn't care less and the breakfast was disgusting. We had the continental and there were 2 slices of dried up bread, 2 croissants, 3 pancakes and very little else. Only enough milk for one person. No plates and coffee that tasted of dish water! We asked 3 times for the breakfast to be replenished but it never happened. This hotel and the restaurant is an absolute disgrace and definitely one to avoid. Never again!

Bathroom floor was uneven, it was like there was a giant bubble underneath the flooring. Why are there no plug sockets by the bed side either? I was also woken up at 3am to someone slamming about upstairs; whilst not the fault of Premier Inn, you promise a restful night. I booked because I had an important exam in the morning... The food on other was absolutely shocking value for money. I paid £15 for a "spicy chicken burger", which was overcooked to hell, had the most pathetic looking tomato in it and a teaspoon of sauce. The fries were okay, but the coleslaw was disgusting. THEN, the breakfast, I think I've never had a worse experience. Your 'continental' was a joke, a bit of muesli, a pretty much stale croissant and a couple of bits of what looked and tasted like tinned fruit. At least I was able to check in early, the receptionist made no bother of it which was nice.

I've stayed at this Premier Inn several times, and it used to be quite good, but it has gone downhill. Last time we stayed there was just before the adjoining Paul Pry pub closed to the public. Both the hotel and pub were looking tired and rundown, and we were told they were closing down at the end of the week for a refit, but that obviously didn't happen. It's difficult to find anything positive to say about our 1 night stay. When we arrived, we were offered a drink and snack. The snack was a small packet of tiny cheese cubes. The drink, which we declined, was a choice of red, or warm white wine, which had probably been on the reception counter all day. Got to the room to find just one bath towel and one hand towel between us. More towels were provided but we shouldn't have had to ask. Room was freezing as the window had been left open. Toilet didn't flush very well. Bed had a sag in the middle. Wifi, as usual was unreliable, had to keep logging in. We ate with friends but went to the Paul Pry for a drink on our return. It was almost empty, and very cold, had to ask for the heating to be turned on. We had a couple of drinks and some chips and realised later we'd been overcharged by at least £5 but as we didn't get a receipt we couldn't prove it. Breakfast wasn't very good. The young waitress did her best but they were short staffed. Tables weren't very clean. The cooked breakfast, supposedly cooked to order, was cold and the sausages burnt. All in all, it was very poor and we will not be staying there again.
