Excellent! The room has a great view, the lady at the front desk is especially gentle, the breakfast is very rich, and I will come back to stay again!

The Good: The hotel is well-located and relatively new, with clean facilities and a friendly staff. Our room was spacious, featuring a sea view and a large balcony, which added to our overall enjoyment. The spa was particularly impressive; the staff were excellent, and the treatments and facilities were of a high standard. The Not So Good: However, the hotel does not meet the standards of a 5-star establishment. The food, while acceptable, lacked the quality one would expect at this level. For example, at breakfast, the juice was dispensed from a machine and tasted more like cordial than fresh juice. Additionally, pancakes were prepared in advance and left to go cold. It's basically a buffet. Housekeeping services were limited; our room had only one bottle of water replaced during the entire week, and although towels were changed and the bed made, there was no thorough cleaning or tidying of hard surfaces. The music outside the hotel was another downside. Starting as early as 7:30 am and playing the same songs repetitively throughout the day was disruptive, and having live music continue until 11 pm from the pool area, right outside our room, was far from ideal. The sauna and steam rooms are only available from 4 pm until 8 pm – I assume to save on energy. The Bad: The pool is inadequately sized for the number of guests the hotel accommodates, resulting in guests 'reserving' with towels loungers early in the morning without any intervention from the hotel staff. The so-called "private beach" was a significant letdown. It is essentially a small section of a public beach that wasn't particularly clean, and the space was so cramped that you had to sit within a foot of other people. This was not the serene, exclusive experience we had anticipated. Additionally, the half-board option only covered the evening meal, which was rather inconvenient. Lunch at the hotel was a la carte and very expensive, with charges like 18 euros for 400 grams of ravioli and 5 euros for a bottle of water, which felt excessive. Overall, while the hotel has some positive aspects, there are several areas where improvements are needed to meet the expectations of a 5-star rating. The pictures by the management in reality are a little ambiguous and the use of a wide angle lense used to make things look much bigger.

This is a lovely hotel. Rooms are beautiful, facilities are great and staff are friendly and helpful. The only reason I haven’t scored it a 5 is that the evening dining experience isn’t up to much. However, considering how many lovely restaurants there are only 5 minutes walk away right in the harbour it’s probably not worth their while to provide more.

The best 5 star hotel we ever stayed in! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast and diner was really good. A lot of choice and extensive. Our room was very clean and so was the rest of the hotel. It has a lovely pool area and a nice private beach. The hotel is nearby the city center of Petrovac where you have a lot of nice restaurants and bars. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Thank you for the pleasant stay!!

went for the expensive sea view appartments - not cheap at 270 eur quality hotel with very helpful staff and 2 pools ( not much space at pools) and free basic gym and sauna. what lets it down is the buffet breakfast and dinners showing a lack of range and effort - let it down a bit. otherwise a good hotel.

Really nice hotel. 5 minutes walk to see front and restaurant's. Lovely pool and Sun areas. Staff wonderful and hard working. Very clean. Only slight issue was not being able to get lunch at the hotel. Evening food and service excellent. Room on floor eight was lovely.

We have just returned frim a week’s holiday at the Ami hotel in Petrovac Montenegro. The hotel eas immaculate, spotlessly clean. The room we were allocated was spacious, comfy bed and a walk in shower. Toiletries and towels were replenished or changed daily. The pools were immaculate and the staff very efficient and friendly. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate. The only reason we would not give it 5 stars is as follows. At the buffet in the evening for the first three days we were unable to get a coffee. This changed after that but, yhere was no explanation as to why yhis occurred. We also thought the staff around the pool and restaurant could be more proactive in asking if you wanted a drink instead of waiting to be asked to bring one. This would increase the revenue for the hotel and make the experience of having a drink by the pool or in the restaurant more pleasant. Despite this, we would highly recommend this hotel our stay yhere was in the main first class.

This is a lovely hotel with some nice amenities but lacks the oomph to make this a great hotel. Pros Our room looked recently refurbished, the plastic wrapper was still on the front of the safe. The bed was comfortable and the room bright and welcoming with a sea view and sun beds on the balcony Big bath towels and a strong power shower Two pools one indoor with a jacuzzi and the outdoor one a lovely swim. Plenty of sun beds on three levels but not many by the actual pool Private beds and umbrella on the beach which are included in the hotel price which they quoted €50 for a days hire for two. Buggy to the beach which is a 10 minute walk if you need it. Our safe stopped working and the bathroom door squeaked badly. Both resolved really quickly. Helpful reception staff Close to lots of bars and restaurants. Good strong WiFi. Cons The plentiful signs saying don’t bring food and drink into the hotel. There is a great supermarket under the hotel called Aroma that was full of guests. But don’t leave anything in the fridge it gets removed. Surly staff who looked like they wanted to be anywhere than serving at breakfast. A breakfast that was repetitive and with cold eggs and over salted omelettes. No fresh fruit when local sellers had fresh figs and strawberries First room offered had no balcony despite us booking one Soulless bar that was empty most of the time we were there. Avoid the evening entertainment it’s not great. Solo guitarist doing the same set each night. Renovation works in one of the towers but no noise or distraction. Overall it is lovely hotel in a good location. We went to Budva for the day and were really glad we stayed in Petrovac which is a smaller much nicer town

The good: - Spacious rooms - Comfortable beds - Daily towel change - Nice public areas - Great location (close to beach and restaurants) - Private section of beach The not so good: - Slow check in - Strange layout - the pool is big but there is only room for a handful of sun loungers around it. There are no toilets near the pool, you have to walk through a formal restaurant or upstairs to find some. - The breakfast room is turned into a formal restaurant during the day and the waiters seem to be waiting around for customers that never come. They come outside every now and then but just look round and never offer anyone a drink around the pool, and it’s not clear where to get one on this floor given the formality of the restaurant. There is also no pool snack menu. - There are signs everywhere saying you can’t bring in food or drink yet the hotel doesn’t provide daily water. The only water is in the hotel mini bar which is a tiny bottle for 2 EUR. In other 4-5 star hotels this is provided complimentary. - Beers (Heineken) served from the bar (at a premium) were out of date. The bad: - Loud singer on every night of the week until 11pm - we were on the 8th floor and it was still very loud. He wasn’t playing to anyone on more than one occasion. - On the Saturday, they removed a third of the loungers and seating all day and constructed a stage for a full band complete with drum set which went on very loudly until past midnight. - During our stay a group of 15 young people turned up and practically turned it into an 18-30s hotel around the pool one day - playing loud music, shouting, smoking, drinking and stealing sun beds. The hotel didn’t do a thing about it. We were really looking for a quiet and relaxing hotel (which this is marketed as) so we wouldn’t return or recommend for this.

We stayed at this superb hotel as part of a tour group. The rooms are great, the shower spacious, views are lovely and the two swimming pools fabulous. Breakfast has a wide range of good, tasty options and the evening buffets were also good. Staff are helpful, pleasant and professional. The only minor criticism is the slow lift for Block B. Strange that there is only one lift to service many rooms.

The most luxurious hotel in Petrovac, 15 min drive from Budva, providing exclusive service with best location by the beach...The spacious rooms with sea view and its modern decoration, extensive food options at the restaurant, the attentive staff made our stay an unforgettable one...Highly recommended for Budva travellers looking for a luxury hotel with exceptional service at a peaceful environment... Will visit again!!!

We had a wonderful stay in AMI Hotel. Stayed in sea view villa room, which was very big and beautiful with ample balcony and amazing view. Room clean and comfortable. Hotel staff nice and accommodating. Parking in hotel garage convenient and easy. Breakfast was good with tasty food and a good selection. Spa and an indoor pool nice and clean. We didn’t have any spa treatments. Petrovac is small but pleasant town much quieter and cleaner than Budva, without hustle and bustle. The only downside of the hotel is a gym: small and purely equipped. Not suitable for 5 star hotel.

The standard rooms are spacious and very comfortable. we had a view over the hills. The staff throughout the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast and evening meals are of a high standard and very plentiful even towards the end of service time. We would certainly recommend this hotel and Petrovac as a resort.
