My partner and I stayed at this hotel as a part of a package deal in September 24. Unlike the beautiful hotel advertised on the website, the hotel is vey run down dirty and literally dropping to bits. The pool area is shadowed by two derelict half built hotels, which have been in this state apparently for years. On arrival we had to trudge, with our luggage through a waterlogged muddy car park. I needn’t have been worried about the mud on the suitcases wheels as the hotel was that dirty. Our bedroom, bathroom and balcony were dirty. Broken shower, shower screen, headboard. The dining room was terrible, dirty tables and chairs, buckets dotted around to catch water coming through the ceiling. The food was buffet style and the worst I’ve ever seen. We were supposed to be half board but decided we couldn’t possibly eat there. There was a bar but it was not open, probably because they were short staffed. The outside area was pretty bad, dirty pool with broken tiles, sun beds dropping to bits and lots of stray cats , food was left rotting on the ground for them, disgusting. I would definitely give this place a miss unless it has a massive overhaul, I really can’t believe we were sold this hotel and I have contacted our travel provider with all the details. I must say the staff were friendly but spoke little English. Petrovac itself was small but friendly with nice costal trails leading to four beaches. The coast line and mountains are beautiful and worth visiting
