Belair Beach Hotel

Beautiful views, wonderful staff. We were on a cruise and had a medivmvmcal emergency. The hotel staff were consistently frienly and helpful. The beautiful views and wonderful accomodations were a comfort. All turned out well.

Best Service My first trip to the island was made so personal. My wife and I celebrated our 3 year delayed honeymoon (COVID) by going to the Bel Air. We wanted a quiet place to enjoy the island and this place provided that. Most of our trip we felt like we had a private beach and even restaurants were not crowded. The staff was helpful and so friendly. After a day of adventures I looked forward to sharing my experiences with them. They would always add and suggest new things to further our short time there. Miss Patsy and Malcolm became like family to us. I hope to come back with our boys one day to share more memories with our family at home and our family in SXM. I can’t say enough about how good my stay was.

Rooms are great. Staff was great. Restaurant is pricey $140. U.S. for 4 people. Bought groceries For $160 and ate breakfast lunch and dinner for a week. If you're renting a car, rent it from there. Save the cab to the resort and pick up from airport with star light. We started with renting a car through *******. The car we got died, not the battery, the cable to it completely rusted. Someone else picking up a car said it looked like it was in a crime scene and refused to take it. Rented from starlight, it was brand new! There were still plastic covers on the seat. Price was the same. Don't get your alcohol from duty free. I did. What a dope. Prices in st Maarten are cheap. Bottle of scotch, 12.50. Really. We walked into St. Maarten from the hotel and it was no biggy. Just over to little Divi and up and over if you don't want to rent a car. Snorkeling off the hotel was great we saw just as much as snorkeling off little Divi as it was wavy and the bottom was really stirred up. I dont know what will happen with this hotel. We had air conditioning but it was broken for 2/3 s of the hotel. No hot water but warm enough to take shower. We boiled our water to make it hot enough to wash dishes. Wifi in the rooms was fine. If you re looking for a great relaxing holiday with the best beach this is the spot for you. I sincerely hope its not being bought up by little Divi which is just so commercial and cold. We did a tour. Sure it has marble counter tops. That's nice. But the room faced the walking path. Not waking up to looking out at the ocean everyday, hearing the waves and seeing that wide expanse of stars over the ocean every night.

Great stay everything was wonderful. The restaurant had good food the one thing that was not too good the AC in the bedrooms are not cool enough it was hot every night.
