We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. We had a beautiful room and the food in the restaurant was amazing. Plenty of good restaurants around but we kept coming back here because the food was so good and there was so much selection. What really made our stay special were the people that work here. So kind and welcoming and ready to help you with whatever you need. We get to spend one more night here in a few days and am already looking forward to it!

We can not confirm the good reviews at all! On our arrival nobody really paid any attention although plenty of staff was there. When we asked for our room, we received odd looks. So first impression was just bad. The room: the bathroom smelled awfully, the floor was dirty and small insects were crawling along the walls. After consulting management, the place was not dirty, just old... According to us, the place needs a proper cleaning, because overall style and location is fine. We received an free upgrade to a different room, which was bigger. So we did not have to leave our luggage on the dirty/old floor. There are ongoing construction works everywhere in the neighbourhood. So the place is loud, even if you stay at the 11th floor. Breakfast was a la carte and good, but it is limited to one drink and one dish. Service at the restaurant is just not there, but the food is good after all.

I spent two nights at the Khmer Surin Hotel in December 2033 and was very pleased to have done so! The service was excellent and included much appreciated help with various arrangements in advance of my stay. The beautifully decorated hotel has a covered, open-air rooftop pool and a comfortable dining area. The breakfast buffet held a limited (but satisfying) array of options; the dinner I had was delicious. Well worth considering!

Beautiful hotel, very helpful staff, good location for tourist sites. Roof top pool great place to relax. Styling of rooms full of character. Easy to find your way home due to the lush greenery hanging from all the balconies!

My room was a good size and was light, airy and quiet There was large walk in shower with sufficient hot water for a five minute shower. The king sized bed had a comfortable mattress and crisp, cotton sheets. The air conditioning was effective. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the room’s balcony. The hotel has a small, well maintained rooftop pool. Options for breakfast varied. If there was a large group visiting a buffet was provided included fruit, pastries and a range of oriental food; the quality of that was poor. On my second morning the restaurant offered a menu service and the quality of the food was much better. All public area were well maintained; unfortunately my room was not refreshed during my two night stay. Wi-Fi was good here. The hotel is centrally located for tourists.

Beautiful little hotel in unique Khmer style. The public rooms on the ground floor are very nice and the rooftop pool is a wonderful place to relax with a number of atttactive seating areas. Our room had no balcony but the furnishing was very attractive , the bathroom huge and the air con very effective. A great base for our stay in Phnomh Penh. However do avoid the restaurant. We had a deeply unpleasant lunch of reheated chewy spring rolls, and breakfast is a complete shambles.

Gem of a find! Quaint, clean warming and inviting ! Additional bonus, the pool and restaurant that serves Delicious foods. I had a large room, walk out balcony and big bathroom. Decor is more of traditional older style Khmer but I loved every thing about what seemed to me a family run boutique hotel. All at reasonable cost. Will stay again on my next visit to Phnom Penh.

We ate at the restaurant (did not stay at Guesthouse). Head waiter was arrogant and rude, he made us wait ages for a table, even though place was half empty and then rushed us through food, which was not cheap by local standards. Food nothing special. Staff could then not accept credit card, so after 10 minutes of them trying to process, we were forced to pay by cash. Dreadful customer service, don’t waste time or money at this restaurant, much better options available. Ian & Kylie

We have stayed at Khmer surin guesthouse for three days, pleasant experience, very nice staffs around, helpful and professional, the location was good too. The rooms is very nice, Khmer surin guesthouse will be one of the top choice when I back to Cambodia.

Stayed for a night with my family of 5 people! Great service, excellent view, nice breakfast! Tried the restaurant from the guesthouse, it’s really not bad, tried sor lo gor gor, curry, fried vegetables! Would definitely come over again the next time I viist Phnom Penh!❤️❤️❤️❤️

The rooms were clean and exceptionally comfortable, with beautiful interior design and plenty of space, and both ceilings fans and a/c. The rooftop pool is superb, and the staff were incredibly helpful. I ate both dinner and breakfast here and enjoyed both meals too. Was sad to leave!

This review relates to restaurant (as this TripAdvisor entry seems to include accommodation and food)- can’t comment on former. But so many things to comment on the restaurant- and we expected great things based on a recommendation from son (admittedly from 9 years ago) and the very professional website. - staff seemed disinterested and disorganised - all things considered, the place is expensive for Cambodia ($4 fries, $3 Singa) - I asked for a Singa, it was duly plonked in front of me without a glass - misses ordered a mojito which took an age to arrive - she asked the desk-guy for an update and was brought a opened Singa (also without a glass) - she explained the situation at which he jammed lid on bottle and put it back in fridge! - despite clearly requesting sides with main course, they arrived early, went cold and had to be replaced - when arrived, food was very bland - gets worse! For reasons unclear a home-office has been installed at the welcome point of the restaurant. We had the misfortune of being sat next to this watching the guy (who we thought was manager) working through paperwork throughout our time at restaurant. During this time he got up and spat in the bin behind him - not nice in full view of clients - we asked for bill to find VAT (and a service charge on top of this!) added to menu price - other than US I have not seen a tax added to menu prices and, as this was the final-straw, ask to see manager (who we expected to be guy at desk). - but it turned out to be one of the waiters ( who was a very nice / quiet chap - who maybe had little control over the place) - he apologised, said they had a big group upstairs (not our problem we explained) - but took 50% off the bill. Whilst this was a good gesture I would have been happy to pay 100% if the place lived up to expectations

The staff at Khmer Surin Boutique Guesthouse l was fantastic and catered to our every need. The rooms were beautiful and the Pool on the rooftop was especially nice. The breakfast very nice of Asian and Western foods. There are restaurants and a convenient store on the same block. it has a good location Just next to Biatong hotel. I will definitely stay there again! Also I would recommend everyone.

I always leave this restaurant very pleased. The food is excellent, the staff very friendly and the prices are really reasonable. I recommend this place if you want to discover Khmer-Thai specialties.
