In viaggio d'istruzione con la mia classe. Dopo due hotel dove ci hanno trattati con sufficienza e con ambienti da denuncia sanitaria, la sosta qui è stata letteralmente un miracolo divino da parte di Apollo. Cibo delizioso (anche se troppo aglio), modi gentilissimi e adorabili. Camera non da cinque stelle, ma i letti e i sanitari sono puliti (peccato per la moquette e qualche altra svista). I really recommend this hotel; we had a thoroughly nice time staying here for 10 days and would definitely stay here again. Comfortable beds, spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms, daily housekeeping, friendly amd helpful staff, and an excellent buffet breakfast. A quiet location almost on the beach, and within very easy walking distance along the sea-front to the town centre with its restaurants and shops, harbour, churches and bus station etc. It's also very easy to get in and out of Itea by road from the Kalafati Hotel; it's about 20 minutes easy driving up to Delphi with its archaeological sites, through the mountains to Thermopylae, over to Amifassa, Galixidi, Arachova etc. Nikos and his father pull off the difficult trick of running a tight ship that operates efficiently whilst being both relaxed and friendly, and always willing and able to help. There is free on street parking and free wi-fi too! There are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, and the wonderful mountain tea (ironwort) and delicious freddo (iced) espresso/cappucino can be obtained in the lobby (ask at Reception). The level of service from the owners and staff of this hotel is better than most 5* hotels. it epitomises the best of Greece and Greek hospitality.

Fab little hotel, very quiet (maybe a little too quiet, no atmosphere at all but I didn’t mind that as I was only there a couple of days). Charming little room with balcony, very nice large bed, decent bathroom (although the floor wasn’t completely cleaned), and the breakfast was sensational! Delphi is tiny so many restaurants and cafes are nearby to relax and enjoy the view in. Just be careful on the marble stairs of the hotel as they’re slippy and I almost fell down them. Recommended!
