Would i stay again? Absolutely! Pros Bicycle provided to enjoy the nearby rice fields, local country lanes - you can even ride into town to enjoy the river, museums, restaurants and many temples. I really enjoyed a few hours out on the bicycle, even though it was old and rusty. The food menu is good, lots of seafood options but other options too, from western to local. The food is high quality, although the ribs maybe had too much overpowering layers of flavours. The restaurant is a very chill vibe, high quality furniture and decoration but with reasonable prices. Loads of drink options, from cocktails to beer, a huge selection of wines etc. Very impressive bar. No toothbrush/toothpaste but good quality gels, shampoo, lotion provided. If you don't pay extra for breakfast, complimentary toast with some homemade jams and a coffee are still provided. The resort organised motorbike rental (its always best to go through the resort/hotel in Thailand). 450 a day which is probably the most I've paid, however I thoroughly enjoyed a couple of days touring the local area, travelling south to Sao Din Na Noi and in the north, Doi Phu Kha National Park. Incredible trip, stunning scenery. Highly recommended. The owners are always there if you need them, either to have a chat or answer questions. Staff were very friendly with good English. Someone said in a review that the rooms were old with dim lights - this is completely untrue. The rooms are beautifully decorated in traditional Thai style but at the same time feel new. The balcony of some rooms have stunning rice field and mountain views but if you don't have that, walk a few metres to the fields with lots of seating to enjoy the views. The gardens around the rooms are well taken care of. Trips can be booked through the hotel. Bottled water provided in room (complimentary) with a well-stocked mini bar if you want extra drinks or snacks (charged but no price list seemed to be there). Cons There is no safe for passport, cash etc in room No kettle in room even though coffee, sugar was there 😅 but if you pay to upgrade or booked the mountain view room, there will be a coffee machine There is no mosquito repellant by pool, in the restaurant or in rooms - possibly because they are usually burning or flammable liquid which wouldn't go well with a resort made entirely of wood! Some electric options maybe? Can hear motorbikes/cars occasionally on the nearby road and almost a constant sound carried across the rice fields from the distant main road. However, this is Thailand and i'm not sure this can be avoided, anywhere. As with most hotels, the light switch situation is unnecessarily overcomplicated. The restaurant charges for ice buckets and bottled water is almost poured without specifically asking, and is charged.

- no hot water twice for shower - never able to logonto wifi from multiple devices over multiple days - they do not have a Do Not Disturb Sign This is a $100 plus a night hotel masquerading as a $7 hostel. The manager had the unfortunate experience of driving me to the airport where I shared my opinion. While she is a very ”jai dee” person I am not sure why she is the manager because she seems to be unequipped to do the job. A simple thing like not having a Do Not Distrurb sign cost me 15 minutes. This was walking to the front desk to ask for and explain what I wanted. The front desk girl again very nice, but due to limited English and unprofessionalism could not handle this question. I think walked back to my room, spoke to two maids asking them not to go to the room. The manager then explained they are waiting for the printer to deliver the signs. I asked did the hotel open last week? She responded that the hotel has been open for 2 yrs. I asked why they are waiting 2 yrs for signs. She smiled. When I complained about not having hot water ... she responded that there was one hot water heater for the hotel ... I cut her off. I dont care if there is 1 hot water heater or 50. If I am paying $100, I would like hot water. Not excuses. Since there are so few people, the manager actually doubled making omelets. I suggested as the manager, when I ordered an egg, she might want to say ”welcome to hotel, i am the manager, how is your stay?” she said...”oh thank you so much for the great idea! thank you for your help” How does the manager of a $100 a night hotel not know this??

The accommodation is near Phra That Chae Haeng. Walk about 250 meters from the accommodation. The room is spacious. Adding one more bed is not uncomfortable. The room and bathroom are clean. The service staff is very good and attentive to customers. Provides a very good answer-answer service.

the service is good.the breakfast variety is small.insufficient parking.some users'vehicles have to park on the roadside, and the parking spaces inside are ground and grass forests.there is no uniform entrance and exit, making it difficult to bring the car in and out.the decoration furniture in the room is relatively degraded,it should be adjusted. Cooked neatly

Beautiful, calm, clean, delicious food
NAN Boutique Resort
5/52 Reviews
